Hi Guys,

Here are a few general tips for GD :-

1) Speak :- You just have to express your veiwpoints in the GD. Do not
expect to get selected if you contribute very little to the GD.

2) Preparation:- Prepare for the GD topics that i have posted in this
thread and also other topics that you come across. Preparation will
give you confidence as well as content for the discussion

3) Discuss not Debate:- The objective of a GD is to have a healthy
discussion on the topic. Ideally the group should converge to a
conclusion on the topic given. It is not a debate where you are
hellbound on proving your veiwpoint. Be aggressive in putting your
points but respect other's viewpoint also.

4) Relevant points :- Dont try to dominate the GD by giving
unnecessary points. If you dont have points and you enter too many
times, it will act against you. Speak an optimum number of times but
discuss relevant points

5) Be confident:- Finally confidence is the key. Even if your
linguistic skills are not great, dont loose your confidence. The panel
is not judging your mastery in the english language but rather how you
present your viewpoints in a group.

You can post any queries if you have.
