It’s been more than a quarter that you passed out of NITIE. Trust you are settling down in your new job. I hope you are enjoying the challenges of the corporate world, which come along with its share of thrills and highs.
I am writing to you with a purpose. Very soon the elective list for VIth quarter will be opened. This year, unlike last years, the Corporate Leadership Development (CLD) will be offered as an elective and not core course.
The current batches would not have much idea of this (CLD) course, its relevance from placement point of view as well as the need to have its knowledge in the work context. I have also not had a chance to interact with your juniors any time in past to talk and about on the subject. I think there is no one better than you to give them a perspective to the course and pedagogy, than you.
Can you please, in a few words (1-2 lines), share your view of this course as well as your experience of having gone through it, in terms of its relevance to corporate jobs, content and the manner in which it was taught? I am looking for your testimonies for the course which I could share with prospective students and help them in making an informed decision about the elective.
Secondly, can you also reach out to some of your classmates in the two section (I was teaching B and C) and request them to provide their feedback? While I am writing to few of them, I don’t have everyone’s mail id.
Your support will go a long way in getting the current batches to understand the significance of the course and also support in getting the course established as an elective.
In coming days, I will again touch base with you to share the course ‘content/topic’ and request you for inputs to make it more meaningful, hands-on and industry-relevant.
