Spring Cleaning

Hi All!
just doing some spring cleaning and thought IS ANYONE INTERESTED in doing a NITE GROOVERS garage sale? I sure have a lot to contribute, i just dont have a driveway to do it in.

That would be so-o-o cool Natira if we could have a yard sale at your house. I can make lots of signs, and we can have a keg and give all buyers a beer if they spend at least $2.50+ and we can make lots of money and get rid of tons of sh.t and then we can save the planet. Let's do it!  I think a non-rainy weekend would be ideal. Irwin

Okay I love at least the few responses so lets set a date and anyone and all can join us. We (dave n I ) are on a budjet now for the 1st time, so we wont be pitching in for a Keg. So what Sat would be good? what about the 22nd of Jan.?

Today I put price stickers on the stuff I want to sell and was
thinking about Saturday. Just want to throw some thoughts out there:
1. Do we have tables? 2. If we mark our stuff with distinctive
stickers (color, initials, etc. I'm using white address labels cut in
half) we only need one "cashier" at a time. As items are purchased,
stick the stickers in a notebook. 3. We need to start out with some
funds for change. A cash box would be nice. We could keep track of
how much "change" is contributed at the start in aforementioned
notebook.

I have one table we can move to the frontyard.. Does anyone have any card tables that we could borrow? I have a desk that we could use as the cashiers desk.

OR we could each have our own area and deal w/ only the buyers interested in our stuff.

I'll check on the News Press garage sale ads. I believe they're less expensive. I can put an ad ion Craigslist if no one has done that yet. Would be nice to know if anyone is selling any big-ticket items or whatever to put in the ad. What's happening with the signs? We may have to have a sign-creating and distributing meeting on Thurs or Fri at Natira's? Let me know if I've missed something and shouldn't do any of the above. One of the things I'm selling is a desk and chair and a picnic table both of which could be used for our headquarters. I don't think I have a cashbox, but I'll look. Does anyone have an open pick-up to move my fold-up picnic table to Natira's? The rest of my stuff will fit in my van. I also have a folding long table that I can bring. I have so much crap. Irwin
