Hi Groovers! I've missed running & carousing with you all the past few weeks as I've been relocating to Salt Lake City for a super work opportunity that I just could not turn down.   But, I haven't forgotten my Groover friends. I will be back in Santa Barbara this weekend to celebrate my birthday and to say my proper farewells as I move on with this next exciting chapter of life.   You are all cordially invited to celebrate with me this Saturday evening at the home of my friends Kent & Karen Harris (some of you may know Kent who is a heck of a runner and who happens to share a birthday with me). Thanks for the note, Andrew. I've taken a position as Director of Customer Care with a nutraceutical company called Max International. It's exciting to be in a management role again. Good luck to you in your job search (or, should I say "Google search"). I'll be living vicariously with the Groovers via your blog each week. Sorry, I missed it Tek, but I had a wedding to go to in Lake Tahoe. My, niece, Emmanies, who was born in Jamaica, got married to a Jamaican, to keep our Jamaican connection. Some of the wedding guests from Jamaica and Florida had never ever been in the snow. But they got up on the slopes and did some skiing and snow boarding. Too bad you won’t be running with us any more. It was good having you here as you inspired me to run more (1000 miles this year) and made me keep a log like you did. Good luck on your new chapter in life and all your endeavors.
