Invite to R&D Showcase 2012
March 3-4, 2012 (Saturday & Sunday)
IIIT Hyderabad
Dear Sir/Madam,
Greetings from IIIT, Hyderabad!
We are pleased to announce that IIIT-H will be conducting R&D Showcase 2012 at our campus, on March 3-4, 2012 (Saturday and Sunday), from 10 AM to 5 PM. This is the 11th edition of the event, since the first edition in 2002.
About R&D Showcase
----------------------
The two day event consists of a showcase of over 150 select exhibits and demonstration of select research projects and represents some of IIIT-H's most recent developments in research and innovation in technology. Dr. Vijay Kumar Saraswat, Scientific Advisor to Defence Minister and Director General, New Delhii, has kindly agreed to be the Chief Guest and deliver the inaugural lecture.
Last year, the event received overwhelming response from all sections of the targeted audience.
Objectives
-----------------------
The R&D Showcase is held annually to meet the three key objectives below.
Provide visitors an opportunity to learn firsthand about IIIT-H's cutting-edge research, innovation, and developments in technology
Create research interest in college and University students and faculty
Help industry identify areas for research collaboration with IIIT-H
Who Can Participate?
---------------------------
The target audience of the R&D Showcase includes corporate R&D heads, students and faculty from engineering colleges, industry professionals, media persons, and technology savvy general public. Registration is free.
