placement stats of 2008-9 for different NITs.....

Hi Rohan and Nishank,

                         Here is placement stats of different NITs which are generally ranked well below our institute.After having a look at it you will come to know that they have far better placement than ours.The quality of visiting companies are also very good and at par with IITs and they are recruiting in mass,but it is not the case with our institute.Here good companies take very few students.

                    Especially in electrical engg top grade companies like ABB,Siemens,alstom,Power grid corporation(10.5Lac),Reliance Energy,Tata Power and many more have visited.

                   Pls have a look at it and if possible mention this to T&P head.

Thanks a lot for those statistics.Although the previous year stats
look impressive, I guess this year's stats will turn out more
interesting :)
We're trying our best to pull in as many co.s as we can.Although we
are in no position to make any promises, we're nevertheless giving our
best shot.I'm sure things will turn out fine at our end as well.Thanks
a lot for a information.

    Thanks for looking out my mail.I really appreciate your hard work as a Joint secretary of our batch.
                      As far as  the above stats are for previous which is also a recession  affected year and they have better stats as compared to us in the same year in terms of quality as well quantity of companies.

                Some of the companies like reliance energy,tata power,alstom,abb,etc can also visit our campus if we approach them properly.And it is request from my side pls lookout for Power Grid Corporation Of India Ltd.It is a PSU which gives a very handsome package of 10.5 lac p.a.This psu visits many NITs and take students in large number.

Rohan & Nishank,

I have sent u mails with the placement details of DCE & NIT Calicut .
Have a special look at the DCE placement statistics as there are a lot
of companies that we can hope to attract to our campus with the names
of DeShaw, Mckinsey, Futurefirst , CISCO, Deloitte, PWC ,Maruti ,
Freescale , Siemens to name a few.
Included in it are the placement packages also.

Hello friends,
Thanks a lot for providing us the sources so that we can easily know
the placement statistics in the other college.
We would like to inform you that our institute is working in close
coordination with the other institutes in the
same league in the region. So we really hope to get the big
corporations that visit these colleges to our own campus.
Hope with all this support and effort we can improve the scenario this
time around even with the recession.
