Hello friends,
I had a conversation with Professor Biswal today. He says our
placements start from 17th july. We are not yet sure about what
companies would follow but the students are requested to reach the
institute before 17th of july.
A few companies have confirmed they will be recruiting in the july-
august period but they ae yet to confirm the dats.

hey guys i recently heard frm nishank that 20 odd companies have
registered wih nit rourkela for placement it would be a tad helpful if
info regarding the same were available. kudos and great work from

Hello friends,
Thanks a lot t KP. About the 20 odd companies that you have mentioned,
I am still not sure but a few have definitely registered and I am sure
with the
improvements around the world we will sure a better placement than the
years gone by.
And we will be able to confirm the initial list of companies around
20th of june.

anyways, here is a list of companies for mechanical engineering students which was mailed to me by Mr. Deepak Gargi (ME 2008 batch). These companies visit local campuses and have tremendous growth potential.
