Hi all, I am brand new here so forgive my ignorance. I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my CSL DD which I will be using with an Xbox Series X for the time being. I know I have to use the driver to update the firmware, but is the software useful for anything else if I am going to be using an Xbox? In other words, if I adjust anything in the tuning menu or create presets, will they "work" with Xbox? Or will all of my wheel tuning be done in-game? Thanks for any info in advance!

up to 5 different setups can be saved on the wheelbase, so if you change something on the fly within the tuning menu it immediately effects the FFB of the CSL DD. This doesn't depend on the plattform you are using .

Interesting, okay. So if you can tune the FFB on the wheelbase, and then also tune it in the game, it seems like that introduces a lot of variables. What do most people do for setting up the in-game wheel settings and then the wheelbase settings so they dont conflict with each other?

The default 'standard' Tuning Menu on the CSL DD is intended for new users like yourself. It only has the overall strength setting and the Natural Damper, so this is something you can get used to before unlocking the 'advanced' Tuning Menu with all the filters. The standard Tuning Menu should still give you a good experience in most games.

If you check the Recommended Settings of the forum, you'll find we list both in-game and Tuning Menu settings for most popular games. We haven't updated the lists for the CSL DD yet, but it will be pretty similar to the Podium settings but with the FF value generally at 100. If you take a look at a few different games you should get a feel for what we're going for.

It is true that there are a bunch of variables, but some are much more significant than others. Please download the CSL DD Manual from the product page and read about what the FFB filters do. The recommended settings are a good starting point but you should also experiment by changing one setting at a time to understand how it affects the behaviour and find what feels best to you.

Hello,
After exprole the horizon update my controller (MS Xbox controller, gen9) is not working properly in Forza horizon 5 (steam version) menus. Its impossible to navigate in menu since right stick, left stick, arrows, triggers and buttons are overresponding. Slightest touch in menu sends me couple of pages/cars etc. I have had this same problem couple of updates ago too, but it fixed itself after next update so I moved on.

Having the same issue now on PC. Just started doing it. Only thing that changed was the update.
Having to use my mouse to navigate menus, I can only imagine having it on Xbox, games literally unplayable at that point.

Basically, the game loads okay and I can get to the main menu, but as soon as I make any selection (to play the game, or to go to help & options, etc etc), the game freezes - sort of. The main menu's background continues rotating, as per the norm, and the music stays on, but no new screens load based on any of my selections and I can't back out; instead I'm stuck looking at the same main menu options as before, but they're frozen.

XBOX functionality remains fine. I can jump out to the XBOX dashboard and close the game manually and restart it, but the same issue keeps coming back. Any idea what might be causing this? Anybody else experiencing the same issue?

(For reference: I have the game as a digital download. I don't think that should be an issue since the game itself loads just fine, and since I haven't received any of the notifications I've read about on here about saving errors)

I tried to find a loophole and go to my friends list and join a friends game. It through me into the game but it acted like I had never played before. Had the Steve skin on and was teaching me how to play and what everything was in the world.

Game was working fine last night, completed building my Endermen farm shut it down, went to load game this morning froze on me couldn't exit menu had to manually shut off xbox 360 an restart, did 3 or 4 times, contacted Microsoft support they helped me format a brand new xbox 360 to factory specs and this time download digital copy of game hoping it would work since my other games all work but freezes at menu screen as soon as I click play game. Anyone know if they did a xbox 360 update and messed anything up in the coding to cause this, lost 3 months of buildings in 6 different worlds because this game isn't working properly now

I also noticed that uninstalling all DLC allows the game to start up just fine. I reinstalled it all, and basically I get a 10-15 minute freeze after selecting play game before the level select screen finally comes up. Not much else can be done, I've tried moving it to different drives as well and no luck.

Had to remove all DLC skins and texture packs, uninstall update to re install, then removed hard drive start game to get it to say cannot play without memory, then put the hard drive back in and finally got the game to play but if I download the skins and texture packs it starts all over again, lost lots of money due to the fact I cannot download the dlcs now

A console which has any one of these chips installed has the abilty to run un-signed code allowing custom applications to be run on the console, effectively turning it into a PC in a way. You can cheat online/offline games, run emulators to play games on other platforms, download games and DLC for free, Customize your dashboard in many ways, the list of benefits of having one of these console is big.

Purchasing a modified console can be found by fellow users of the web. Team-Xecuter are pretty reliable and have multiple sellers worldwide who are verified and trusted. Most of the time, you will send off your console to their address and they will send it back once the chip has been installed and funds received.

it is a modified xbox so you can play pirated games or burnt games .you cannot go online with it because you will get banned and you can get easily rgh(reset glitch) xbox 360 console from market or buy orginal xbox that is not modified and make it modify after buying there are people out in market that can modify console depending on models

I was able to make a cinematic cameras menu using steam input, but the steam version of DCS is not required for the tool. When using my tool you can tap once then press down on the d pad of your xbox controller for the camera menu to appear. If you select an option from the camera menu, the tool will switch to that camera and automatically switch the control scheme of the Xbox controller to best manipulate that specific camera type. You should theoretically be able to create a DCS cinematic video without having to the touch keyboard with my tool.

I initially created this tool for members of the flying community I'm apart of but I thought I might as well improve upon it and share it publicly. This is the sort of thing I wished existed for me when I first trying make videos in DCS. So I hope others find it helpful.

It's awesome, but the "Filming" option doesn't appear in my list, even though I have enabled "Show all...". I am using an Xbox One controller, and I have also tried installing the extended feature support driver.

Turn on steam big picture mode. Then launch your DCS. While in game press shift tab then open controller options, then re apply my layout. See if the menu appears now. I'm thinking your steam some how now never applied the layout even though you told it to. I remember this happened to me one time but I thought it was a fluke, I had to run it in big picture mode then it seemed to work just fine from then on.
