Nikon Viewnx 2 Download [VERIFIED] For Windows 10

I deleted the indicated file in the registry and was able to down load and install view nx-i but it will not open. I'm using windows 10 pro. Tried all the options in the windows trouble shooter; none worked. It said the program is incompatible.
The "almost"bad news is that I had to make a clean install of Windows 10 Pro to get the Nikon software to work. A clean install is no small task for me and it took a while of me weighing the pros and cons of the task before I pulled the trigger. If I wasn't for the problems I experienced with my upgrade from Win 7 Pro to Win 10 Pro, I might not have done it (my windows updates were being duplicated and I had as many as 8 installations of the same file showing as installed). The deciding factor was the corruption of the windows update file and Nikon technical support's inability to help. If anyone needs more details on either installation, send me a line.
I'd imagine it can be done but you will have to use a program like vmware thinapp to package the program onto the stick or drive.
Probably the easiest solution is to pick up a cheap windows netbook. Take that instead of the harddrive.
