Good afternoon to all:

I am starting to assemble the flag retirement ceremony at Saline County Courthouse. I would love to see a crowd, and a lot on involvement from all troops and packs. Will you please forward to all that you think would be interested that I may have missed on the e-mail. I would not mind seeing this hanging up in business locations around town.

Thanks for all your help, and your tremendous sacrifice to scouting!

This event is one that Nischa Sipo District endorses. All Scouts, parents and leaders are encouraged to attend. Friday, November 11, 2011 is Veterans Day which falls during the week. Please feel free to print this out and post where permission is granted to do so. Bring your tired, worn out and damaged American flags to have them properly retired with all the due respect Americans can give.

I hope that you have already prepared your flags for retirement but just in case you have not there will be someone at the gazebo on the Court House lawn to help you with the preparation. Leaders, this is a good opportunity for your boys to make a contribution. Bring plenty of sharp scissors and helping hands.
