Scouts, Parents and Scouters,

The deadline to attend the final Ouachita Area Council Recognition Dinner and Combined Diamond Lakes-Nischa Sipo Districts Banquet on Saturday, January 28, 2012 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm in the Great Room at the College of the Ouachitas, One College Circle in Malvern, Arkansas; is almost up.

Please find attached a copy of the official invitation, R.S.V.P. by Monday, January 16, 2012.

Right now we have about 30-35 signed up. We can accommodate up to two hundred, so please register ASAP. Let's make our final council event a grand success. We'd rather have people standing in the halls, than no one in the seats.

You will also find that our Scout Expo is coming up fast on the heels of our banquet, February 11th at Holland Chapel Baptist Church next to the Saline County Fair Grounds. Also, find attached the registration form for it. Get that is as soon as you can too.

Additionally, coming soon, March 31st, Nischa Sipo District Pinewood Derby in Benton (flyer will be out soon) and Family Fun Day April 21st at Lake Degray State Park. (we need volunteers for this event, Diamond Lakes and Nischa Sipo will be holding their bi-district Pinewood Derby Grand Prix, more info soon).

Please send this out to all Scouts and Parents, as well as, unit leaders.

The boys may not say it but they know you are doing what has to be done to make Scouting a force in their lives. Thank you for your fellowship and the privilege to work with such fine people.
