Dr. Mahesh Sankaran <mah...@ncbs.res.in> National Centre for Biological Sciences is looking for a coordinator for his ‘long-term’ forest vegetation monitoring
programme. The sites would include forest plots in Agumbe (Karnataka), in the Andamans and also Pakke (Arunachal Pradesh). Other sites in the Western Ghats and drier tracts are planned and work at grassland sites in Spiti (Himachal Pradesh), Sikkim, Western Ghats and central India is also due to commence. The job would involve a combination of field work/ data collection and administration/ coordination.
Desirable educational qualification is an MSc in ecology or life sciences.
