On the occasion of World Youth Skills Day,Vidya Helpline in Guntur has participated in a huge gathering organized by Andhra Pradesh state skills development committee. VHL impacts entire govt schools in Nalgonda
In an initiative to spread career workshops to all the students, the VHL team interacted with the Principals of 300 government schools in the entire district. It gave them an understanding and need of career counseling and guidance to students which will bring better results to the students. CSP ensures admission and financial assistance to a meritorious student!
Within few days of selecting the 'Mighty 30' of the new Cohort 3 batch of Career Saathi Program, a bright student Charan, who hails from a very poor background was facilitated in getting admission and financial assistance to pursue ECE in CITD instead of studying in a government college. Charan scored 9 CGPA in his tenth class and has secured 255th rank in the entrance examination. VHL supported him by providing him 80% of the admission fees which enables him to pursue his career!
VHL efforts help a student to get admission in CBIT
Coming from a poor background, Chandrika wanted to become an Astronaut. However, she was uncertain about taking MPC. So she called VHL for the first time in 2013. VHL counselors guided her to do Polycet and eventually she got admission in Jawaharlal Nehru Government Polytechnic College. VHL Counselors explained her about scholarship opportunities and she got KC Mahindra private scholarship for 3 years. Later VHL team gave her coaching centre details to prepare for ECET and eventually she secured 114th rank in the exam and got admission in the reputed CBIT Engineering College where she will continue her second year in Mechanical Engineering shortly. Further she has plans to qualify Gate exam and dreams to get into ISRO.
CSP Student scores a mammoth 98% in Intermediate Exam
One of our Career Saathi Program student Deepika of our Career scored 98% marks in Intermediate first year examination post improvement exam. She achieved 431 out of 440 and has made everyone proud with her performance. She is striving hard to continue her winning streak in the second year as well.
CSP student cracks CA CPT exam through Mentor’s guidance
One of our CSP student Sai Kumar has cleared the entrance exam of CA-CPT with the right guidance from his mentor and is progressing well in his career. Thank you Chiranjeevi sir for your continuous mentoring and guidance towards your mentee. With your inspiration, other mentors and their mentees are working in the right direction to achieve more success.

Toll free Tele-counseling: A toll-free service, where career info and guidance is provided to students and drop outs over a phone.
In the month of June and July 34,139 queries on education and career prospects from rural students and drop outs have been resolved.

Career Counselling Workshops: These are our outreach programs, where we reach out to the students of SSC grade and expose them to various career opportunities and assist them in their career decisions thereby making them dream BIG!
In the month of June and July we organised 9 Career Workshop in Govt schools through which 606 students were benefited.

Messaging Outreach: This is a tech- tinge outreach program, where we use Voice and Text messaging to update our beneficiaries about any latest career / academic information like scholarships, admission dates etc.

My name is Mahalinga Reddy hailing from Mahbubnagar. I completed my Intermediate through vocational education. I took long term MBBS coaching but couldn’t get rank. I called VHL in 2012. Knowing my interest they suggested me to go for BPT. They guided me to apply BPT from NIMS. Initially they didn’t allow me as I did from vocational education. But VHL team supported me greatly by explaining the management and ensured my admission process. Later they also helped me in providing scholarships which would finance the course. In addition to the fee reimbursements every year, I also got Nirmaan Scholarship which helped me to continue my education smoothly. At present, I am doing my masters course in Pharmacy and Clinical Research from Apollo Institutions. I am always thankful to the VHL counselors and whole team for helping me throughout my career.

Thanks to them, I got NHFDC and tuition fee reimbursement scholarships in my B.tech (ECE) course.
