Vidya Helpline is one of the flagship programs of Nirmaan Organization that aims at providing Career Info and Guidance to rural students and drop outs. We take immense pleasure in getting you the updates from our centers of State(Telangana), Andhra Pradesh, Nizamabad, Nalgonda, TSWREIS, ITDA Bhadrachalam, Bangalore and Assam(Acting as expert partner). Overall through our services we were able to reach and guide more than 14,529 students in the month of December.

Another great step towards the expansions of our services in Karnataka. Tele Helpline was launched at Bangalore on 14th of December, 2017. Now we have 2 lines with toll free number 1800-429-2429 and 2 counselors in the Tele Helpline department. This helpline is supported by Vmware company. 
Vmware Community Day is a one-day event, which is organized by Vmware Software India Pvt. Ltd.  to connect their employees with inspiring NGOs, focusing on building awareness for ways they can contribute back their time, talent and treasure to the broader community.
VHL Bangalore team participated in the event and interacted with Vmware employees regarding our vision, projects that we are handling and also shared information about ways they can support  us and get engaged in a meaningful manner. 

 
Bangalore team along with 2 Vmware Volunteers painted the classrooms at Vijinapura School on 7th December with beautiful pictures, which also are very creative and informative for school children apart from being colorful.
 
 Had a CSP (Career Saathi Program) Mentors Get Together on 10th of December, where a lot of healthy discussions on way forward and various challenges they are facing and also enhancements have been discussed. Concept of Spoorthy Bhavan was also introduced to the Mentors to take their views on it before piloting it.
 
Career Workshop conducted by Bangalore team  at Kanara School, Bangalore benefiting 30 students on 20th December, 2017.
In the month of December we have completed career workshops at ITDA, reaching to 166 schools of ITDA benefiting 8654 rural students.
Nizamabad VHL team gets acknowledged in Mana Telangana Newspaper on 24th December, where they have presented our vision, projects, how it is useful to the students and also the students feedback.
 
Toll free Tele-counselling
A toll-free service, where career information and guidance is provided to students and drop outs over a phone on demand.
In the month of December 10,103 
queries on education and career prospects from rural students and drop outs have been resolved.
Career Counselling Workshops
These are our outreach programs, where we reach out to the students of SSC grade and expose them to various career opportunities and assist them in making their career decisions, thereby making them dream BIG!
In the month of December we have organised 233 Career Workshop in Govt Schools through which 11,072 students were benefited.

Messaging Outreach
This is a tech-tinge outreach program, where we use Voice and Text messaging to update our beneficiaries about any latest career / academic information like scholarships, admission dates etc.

          I am Poojitha, hailing from Madatapalli village-East Godavari district.I came to know about Vidya helpline through career workshop conducted in our school. Later I called them and registered as vhl Caller. After few months I received a message regarding Kamma Sangam Scholarship for 10th meritorious students from VidyaHelpline and applied for it. As a result of which every year I receive a cheque of 5000 rupees based on my merit, as scholarship amount. Thanks to VidyaHelpline for supporting us, as this amount is helping my Father (farmer) to make my education in IIIT-Nuzvid smooth and happy. I would like to heart fully thank Nirmaan APSSDC VHL for helping us a lot with the information and support.

With the support of Vidya Help Line, I got clarification and information regarding my studies . They also helped me in getting the Sitaram Jindal Scholarship.

I am Gopi from kalluru mandal, Khammam district. I came from a very poor background. I completed my SSC at TSW Gurukulam and I wanted to do Open Inter as I was simultaneously studying at ITI. So I made a call to VHL and told them about my interest and my doubt, If it is possible to do both at the same time. They informed me that doing one course in open and other one in regular is not a problem and they also gave all details on how to apply, fee details etc., With the help of that information I got Open Inter admission in Vignan High School. VHL counselors also gave information to apply scholarships which are related to my qualification. So I applied for Sitharam jindhal scholarship and got scholarship of RS.9000/-. Through VHL messages I also get information on Job melas, free trainings etc.., and I call back to VHL toll free number after receiving the message to get clear details on applying for jobs, free trainings. I also share these messages to my friends, then they call VHL for details & if they are interested, they also join. If VHL was not there getting information would be difficult. Also providing guidance and information related to career through a toll free number is helping many village students. I am very thankful to VHL team.

With the support of Vidya Help Line, I got a chance to be attend solar technician course at free of cost, thereby increasing my chances of employment in future.

            I am Suresh from Khammam district, my parents are farmers. I completed my SSC in Ashrama High school with 60% and Inter in Manugur Junior college with 65%. I made a call to VHL Toll free number to know information about any free training to develop my skills and get a job. They explained me about solar technician course in Altemative Energy Institute, SR.Nagar based upon my qualification. With the help of that information I went to YTC center and joined the course and took the training for 3 months at free of cost. After completion of course I was also offered a job by Altemative Energy Institute free training center. All these details I came to know through ITDA VHL toll free number and vhl counselors, who explained everything in detail.I had also given the same information to my friends and they also had joined. VHL counselors helped me so much,I am heart fully thankful to VHL team for their support.
