We take immense pleasure in getting you the updates from our centers of State(Telanagana), Odisha, Nizamabad, TSWREIS, ITDA Bhadrachalam and Assam (Acting as expert partner).

Reading is learning!
In order to nurture the reading in our staff, we have established a library that consists of paperback books and DVDs on various elements of persona enhancement, psychology, technical knowledge, language learning etc.
This Library has been a successful establishment with the kind help of Sanklap and YouSee organizations who made it possible to gift the reading to our staff and beneficiaries. |

Toll free Tele-counselling: A toll-free service, where career info and guidance is provided to students and drop outs over a phone.
In the month of August, 8,126 call queries on education and career prospects from rural students and drop outs have been resolved.

Career Counselling Workshops: These are our outreach programs, where we reach out to the students of SSC grade and expose them to various career opportunities and assist them in their career decisions thereby making them dream BIG!
This month, we organized Career Workshops in 23 Govt schools reaching to 1,273 students.

Messaging Outreach: This is a tech- tinge outreach program, where we use Voice and Text messaging to update our beneficiaries about any latest career / academic information like scholarships, admission dates etc.
The Voice messaging service is exclusively to cater to the career needs of the visually handicapped, as their sources of info are very limited.
This month, 12,624 voice and text messages have been shot out.

Unemployed Youth Counselling: A program intended for the unemployed youth to connect them to employment opportunities or enabling them to pursue their education.
103 youth have been counselled and 8 youth have been enrolled in various free training centers and 7 youth been have been employed under various profiles listed by VHL.

" My Name is Praveen Naik and I am from Tandoor. I completed my SSC with 9.6 GPA and my parents are farmers. Because of my financial problems I could not continue my studies, so I was worrying about my life. One day I called VHL for help and I explained my financial background and how it wouldn't allow me to pursue my education.The VHL counselors explained what kind of opportunities I could have to continue my studies free cost , not only that they (VHL counselors) applied the application form in IIIT, corporate colleges that provide free intermediate education. Fortunately I got admission in both IIIT and corporate college. I chose IIIT –One entry to graduation. I thank Vidya HelpLine because of which A poor student like me gets an opportunity to study in university of global standards.
Note: IIIT is International Institute of Information and Technology, a united AP government run, residential institution that provides an international standard to nurture the research element and opportunities in the students.
Students are selected for these institutions based on the merit score of their SSC that leads them to get to complete an integrated course of intermediate and engineering.
