Vidya Helpline is one of the flagship programs of Nirmaan Organization that aims at providing Career Info and Guidance to rural students and drop outs. We take immense pleasure in getting you the updates from our centers of State(Telangana), Andhra Pradesh, Nizamabad, Nalgonda, TSWREIS, ITDA Bhadrachalam, Bangalore and Assam(Acting as expert partner). Overall through our services we were able to reach and guide more than 14,505 students in the months of January and February together.

Inaugurated Spoorthy Bhavan for our CSP students (as a pilot for boys) on 21st February, with a vision to provide an inspiring residential environment to the students and equip them with all the necessary facilities to make their learning more effective.

A new office was set up for Nalgonda team at Srinivas Nagar Colony, Padma Jyothi Complex, Nalgonda, in partnership with Deshpande foundation to make the services reach to more number of people. It was inaugurated by Shri P. Ravinder Reddy, MLC; Shri M.V.Gona Reddy, CEO of KomatiReddy Prateek Foundation on 28th February, 2018.

Nizamabad team participated in the event Development Dialogue organized on 27th Jan'18. Development Dialogue is an international conference on social entrepreneurship held by Deshpande Foundation, Kakatiya Sandbox. During this Dialogue, delegates from diverse sectors and geographies come together to share proven models, innovations and transforming perspectives about improving social infrastructure.

CSP Residential Camp was conducted from 7th Jan'18 to 10th Jan'18. On the first day of our camp we have introduced Mentor Guideline Grid and Direction Plan form to our CSP students and their mentors. We had our mentors working on the direction plan for their mentees by discussing with them.

During the CSP Residential Camp, we have conducted various training sessions to the students, including training on computer skills, Confidence Building, Time Management, Robotics workshop, English Communications skills. Apart from which we also had general interactions with the students.

Apart from training during the camp, students have showcased their talents by actively participating in the cultural night, jam sessions, youth parliament and beautifully presenting their assignments.

| Students Exposure Visit to T-Hub, Start Up Incubator in Hyderabad on 10th Jan'18. Our students went around in the hub and interacted with various young entrepreneurs and also shared their future goals there. |

In the months of January and February we have conducted 180 Workshops - 33 Career Workshops in Bangalore, 56 CW's in Nizamabad, 17 CW's in AP, 48 CW's in Nalgonda and 26 CW's in other parts of Ranga Reddy Dist.

Apart from 15 career workshops in February in AP, another 4 career workshops were conducted as a pilot for APSWES students in various zones of AP.

Toll free Tele-counselling
A toll-free service, where career info and guidance is provided to students and drop outs over a phone.
In the months of January and February a total of 14,930 queries on education and career prospects from rural students and drop outs have been resolved.

Career Counselling Workshops
These are our outreach programs, where we reach out to the students of SSC grade and expose them to various career opportunities and assist them in making their career decisions, thereby making them dream BIG!
In the months of January and February together we have organised 184 Career Workshop in Govt Schools through which 9,529 students were benefited.

This is a tech-tinge outreach program, where we use Voice and Text messaging to update our beneficiaries about any latest career / academic information like scholarships, admission dates etc.

Shekar is a visually challenged person hailing from Bejjora, Bheemgal in Nizamabad district. His inclination to secure a good position in the banking sector, after finishing his graduation started his preparations. Being challenged visually, he faced obstacles in his way to gather information on different notifications. One of his friends suggested him to call VHL, from where he could get the appropriate information on various bank notifications. He called up and made good use of the information provided by VHL. He rang VHL regularly and interacted with our counselors to nullify his doubts. Our counselors well informed him about the notification released by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for Rural Regional Banks (RRB), with that information he dropped his application for the post of Office Assistant. Whenever he required information on stages of examination, selection process, syllabus, results etc. our counselors bestowed him with proper information. He worked hard to reach his goal.
