Join hands, Welcome to severely drought affected Jalna for "Sevankur Shram-Sanskar Camp" from 24-28 April. Attached herewith the brochure of the camp. Reach Jalna on 24 April by 12 pm, as there will be the  orientation sessions from 2 pm. The Shramadan activity will start on 25 morning by 6 am. Shri. Anna Hajare will be inaugurating the camp on 25 morning at the Shramadan site (Ghanewadi lake)  

Dr. Vikas Amte, Prof. Girish Kulkarni-Snehalaya-Ahmadnagar, Nilima Mishra-Jalgaon, Dr. Avinash Pol-Satara, Kaka Shitole-Pune, Rameshbhai Kacholia-Mumbai, Jalna District Collector Shri Sham Deshpande, Chotoo kaka Varangaonkar-Amravati, Bhupendra Mujumdar-Pune, Madhukar Dhas-DILASA Ghatanji-Yavatmal, Atul-Prajakta Upadhye-Nagpur  & many more social activists will be visiting/ interacting / joining the camp of 300 participants from all over the state.

Pl. spread the msg to your friends & network. We are also starting 7 day's volunteering in drought affected villages after the camp, which will be continued till June end. You can devote 7 days of your life to gain lot of experiences, learning, blessings.  

Caring Friends-Mumbai & their associates DILASA-Ghatanji-Yavatmal, PRAYAS-Sevankur-Amravati, Dr. Avinash Pol-Satara, Atul-Prajakta Upadhye-Nagpur, Snehalaya-Ahmadnagar, BNGVN-Jalgaon, & others have visited & started working for some short term & long term measures in Jalna district, with local organizations since 15 March 2013. We are visiting almost every week there. Rotary Club-Rainbow, Ghanewadi Jal Sanrakshan Manch, Anandnagri Group are working towards deshilting of the Ghanewadi lake, which used to supply water to Jalna city. It has been totally dried out. 

The "Ghanewadi Jal Sanrakkshan Manch", a committed group of Jalna people voluntarily started deshilting work since last 4 years. They are expending around 20-25 lacs Rs. every year by way of voluntary contribution every year. We also have started working with them. 

We will be doing Shramdan at the Ghanewadi Lake which is 10 kms away from Jalna city. We all hope & feel that the Sevankur Shram-Sanskar Camp will help in generating a very positive wave & spread it all over in this moment of sufferings & darkness.
