Vidya HelpLine is one of the flagship programs of Nirmaan Organization that aims at providing Career Info and Guidance to rural students and drop outs.
We take immense pleasure in getting you the updates from our centers across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka!!! Unfortunately we couldn't send consolidate updates in the last one year. We look forward to send on a quarterly basis!!!

IBM- Global Excellence Award
Nirmaan received IBM’s fourteenth Global Annual volunteer excellence award for the contributions made by IBM volunteers to the Nirmaan projects. This is the first time an organization from India has received this. We thank Mr. Naveen Prathapenini, Mr.Thomas and all IBM volunteers for their continuous support!!!

National Career Guidance Policy Meet
Invited by FICCI-UNDP for one day workshop on Developing a National Framework for Career Guidance in India, organised at UNDP, Delhi on 28 August 2019. We thank Surabhi Dewra, Founder Career Guide, for nominating Nirmaan Organization for this workshop!!!

TTT Training to TSW Jr.Lecturers
Conducted training to TSW Jr.Lecturers as part of Train the Trainer Program held in Hyderabad on 19th August 2019. These trainers would then implement the sessions to students in their respective colleges. We thank Dr. Praveen Kumar Sir, IPS, Secretary, TSWREIS in helping us conducting this training program.

Piloting Local Career Counselling Center
Inaugurated a pilot Local Career Counselling Centre at Burugula. The idea is to take the career information and guidance to the remote places and Nirmaan would partner with various established non profits on the ground. We thank Dr. Alok Agarwal Sir and Global Pragathi team, for making this happen. Once the pilot is successful, we look forward to scale further at other places with the collaboration of NGOs

Nirmaan Vidya Help Line Services answered 1,03,692 calls from 34,564+ students to guide on various aspects of Career, Scholarships, Exams, Free training institutions, hostels etc.,

Career Workshops - in Schools
A highly interactive workshop to make the rural students DREAM BIG by motivating them through videos and inspirational stories and exposing to career opportunities like nursing, paramedical, vocational along with professional courses like Doctor, Engineering etc., Also introduced to Scholarships, Free Education and colleges.
Nirmaan VHL have Conducted 146 Career Workshops in Government Schools reaching 8760 students in directly counseling them

Career Saathi Program (CSP)
CSP is a selective student support program for the meritorious students but economically weak in assisting, mentoring and tracking them till successful employment and looping the students back to the organization for its sustenance. About 143 students form various places of Telangana and AP are part of CSP.
9th Residential Camp is conducted for students of CSP helping them learn job oriented skills like Resume making, Computer training, Crash Courses etc.

I am YADAGIRI (visual handicapped) from Laxman Nagar Village, Bandlaguda Mandal, Hyderabad district. My parents are unemployed. I completed my 10th class with 56% in 2003 from Mahaboobnagar district. I did my Intermediate in Haliya College at Hyderabad with 59% in 2005. I have pursued my degree in Babu Jagjivan Ram College from Hyderabad with 59% in 2009 & I got B.ED degree in 2011.
I listen to Vidya Helpline Toll free number in the FM Radio. I called Vidya Helpline toll free number 1800-425-2425 for IBPS Exam August notification 2017 details. Counselors gave me all information I needed and I applied it and got Job in Bank of India. Now I am working at Hyderabad. They have supported me a lot explained me each and every point clearly when notifications came. VHL Counselors helped me so much and I heartfully thank VHL team.

My name is Talari Jyothy, daughter of Yellappa. My father is an Agricultural labourer. I am from Maddur Village, Narayanpet District of Telangana. I have studied till 10th Standard in ZPHS Government School, Maddur.
One day to my School, Nirmaan Vidya Help Line Counselors came to deliver career guidance session. Prior to this session, we students had no clear idea of goals we should have and path to achieve them. With Career Guidance session we got help in selection of goals and understand the way forward in achieving them. I Chose Diploma in Agriculture as my choice of career with assistance of career guidance session. I applied for it and got seat in Diploma in Agriculture College in Karimnagar. Presently, I am studying 2nd year Diploma, and I am very happy for studying in field I liked.
I thank Nirmaan Vidya Help line for the guidance. I hope they conduct these types of Career Guidance Sessions to the benefit of all Government School Students, in all Schools. This service would be helpful to many poor students like me.

I am Spandana from khammam District. I completed my 10th class from Government high school Medikondur with an aggregate of 9.8 GPA. My father left us 8 years ago and never returned.
I had been selected in Career Saathi Program through selection conference. I got Admission into IIIT Nuzivid College where I was not able to select my course. Career Saathi Program helped me in choosing a career which best suits me by conducting career assessment test. Through the test I selected my career myself, I opted for Civil engineering.
To get hands on experience in my stream I need to take coaching in Stad Pro, Rivet Architecture. Career Saathi program had assisted me with 14,700 rupees for coaching so that I can get job easily after completion of my Bachelor degree.I am thankful to entire Nirmaan organization for helping me.
