Daan Utsav '15 (previously Joy of Giving Week)

Hello all,

   I have some exciting news and I'll keep it short. Our version of Joy of Giving Week - JoGW '14 gained a lot of traction on campus and has given us a good base to have bigger events with better participation. We also have the muscles to push our influence across Goa and get more people involved in this festival of philanthropy. I would like to congratulate Siddhi and her entire team for the amazing work done in this edition and I request them to guide the next team in whatever way they can.

With this in mind, I'm ecstatic to announce the next Chief Joy Givers! 

To take care of on campus Daan Utsav '15 BITS Goa, we have Surabhi Ranjan who will be taking up the role and relieving Siddhi of this responsibility. 

To take small steps in spreading this festival of giving across Goa under the banner of Daan Utsav '15 Goa, we have Shardool Kulkarni who will be taking up this newly created role and he will also be working as the expansion manager side by side as we believe the work is overlapping to some extent.

For now, we ll call these roles Daan Utsav Coordinators, BITS Goa till we can come up with a better name. (suggestions are welcome)

We will all hear from them shortly as we start our preparations for this edition.

We have a lot of faith in them and we are sure that DU will scale greater heights in the coming editions with their full fledged contribution. On behalf of the current Daan Utsav (JoGW) team, I would like to congratulate them both and wish them the best for the next edition.
