Nipype and ssh

Hi! How are you?

I need to run nipype with ssh . I tried workflow.run(plugin='IPython') but I cant change default profile. any idea?

hi cristian,

you need to read the ipython help on how to setup ipython over ssh. 

http://ipython.org/ipython-doc/stable/parallel/parallel_process.html#using-ipcluster-in-ssh-mode

then you should be able to use the ipython plugin. it will also require that you have a shared filesystem (either mounted in the same location  that autosyncs - e.g. using nfs  or bittorrent sync or dropbox)

1. setup ipython over ssh

2. ensure there is a common mount for data

3. run nipype workflow using ipython plugin on the same machine that starts ipcluster.
