Wrapping custom MATLAB Script --- HELP!!!

Dear All Nipype users and developers,

We've been trying to wrap custom MATLAB script for a while now but have not been able to successfully achieve a working interface for any of our MATLAB scripts. The examples that we have been following were largely from the Nipype webpage , but given our lack of programming expertise, we have not been able to achieve much.

Are there any additional guides or tips that anyone here knows about which we could follow to wrap any given MATLAB script? I've read suggestions from people such as Eric who posted on alternative methods to wrap MATLAB apart from the one on the Nipype webpage, but even those are quite advanced. Is there a sort of absolute beginner's guide to wrapping MATLAB script that anyone here is able to share?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! In our lab we use customized MATLAB code very frequently and now the greatest barrier hindering our greater adoption of Nipype is essentially the trouble we are facing in getting working MATLAB interfaces.
