Howdy folks,

We're looking to make AFNI a bigger part of our toolbox, but several of the functions we plan to use aren't yet included in nipype (as of 0.9).

I'm more than happy to write the ones we need, but want to make sure that I'm not duplicating an effort that is already underway. It looks like there have been a couple of (aborted?) attempts (ie #479) – do you know of anyone actively working on adding, say 3ddeconvolve?

If nobody is seriously working on this, then I shall just have to grab all of the glory for myself (oh, so much glory). Otherwise of course I'd like to split the work, but only with someone who can hold their own. If you're interested in helping, but don't feel super confident about writing interfaces, there's always room for testers!

Anyhow. If you or someone you know is working on this, please speak up. I probably won't be spun up on this for a few weeks – I need to learn how to AFNI :) – but may well wind up getting to put a significant number of work hours into the effort.

I'm not aware of anyone picking up #479 (deconvolve and zeropad)- but you can ask on that thread directly: https://github.com/nipy/nipype/pull/479

Make sure you look at the existing interfaces - we made a lot of additions to base class to make wrapping much easier.

Best,
Chris

Ben,

David Welch has a few "draft" wrappers that he'll pass along soon.

They are solutions for one problem, and likely not complete or fully ready for generic public distribution.

Hi Ben,

I'm cleaning up my old pull request on Github (#479) and I'll resubmit later today.  Take a look at it when you get a chance.
