Dear All,

Recently I managed to install Nipype on my lab's Workstation running on Ubuntu 12.04 using the NeuroDebian repository, and ran the installation test. The test executed smoothly, but seemed to stall midway, as you can see from the screenshot that I have attached to this post.

This problem occurred when I was using an account which had the MATLAB license (and could therefore run matlab) and I believe that the step at which it stalled in the installation test is one where it calls on MATLAB several times. I never had this problem when I ran the installation tests using the user accounts that have no matlab licenses, and the installation test proceeds smoothly until the end. However, with these accounts that have no MATLAB permissions, the Nipype installation test reports 7452 runs, 1 error and 0 failures  at the end.

Is Nipype good to go on our system, or are there some issues which we would need to check/resolve before we can use it?

PS: I have zipped the image of the screenshot out of convenience, as the original image dimensions were too large for google to accept
