What do you mean with "all callbacks"? The term generally callback refers to any Skill code that is triggered by an event as opposed to being called explicitly. Do you talk about CDF callbacks or callbacks in a GUI or what exactly? Disabling literally all callbacks will render your virtuoso session useless.

I want to actually disable the callback controlling the width and length of a device. For example, device range is enforced by a callback so a user cant enter any value outside the range . I want to disable this property temporarily so i can enter values outside the allowed range.

Thanks for this code!
What I don't understand though is why the CDF callbacks get triggered in nograph mode in the first place. I always figured CDF callbacks were form callbacks and in such do require a graphic environment.

One possibility is that a replay file is being used which is still interacting with the form, and another is that a generic function (such as abInvokeCdfCallbacks or CCSinvokeCdfCallbacks is being used to trigger the callbacks after a database change; however, if it was that then they have the ability to omit calling specified callbacks anyway, so I assume that can't be it).

Just recently have been experiencing a problem using the Alex skill, where I have to almost daily disable then re-enable the skill to get it working. I have several Amazon echo devices that I use and dedicate a Sonos speaker to, and a total of 3 Amazon accounts, which has not been a problem up unitl now. It seems that when I disable and re-enable under one Amazon device/account, at some point I will have to do the same under another. Again, all of this has been working great up until recently. Note: I do have a Sonos boost on my network.

First, a correction in that although I have three Amazon accounts only two are used in controlling and using the Sonos skill. I too thought that using multiple Amazon accounts was the problem as well. However I am still able to play music on the Sonos speakers associated with these accounts, at least for a period of time. In fact currently doing so right now. The issue seems to be that after a period of time they have to be disabled and re-enabled. All of this had been working for nearly two years, Which leads me to believe that there is a problem with the app.

Can you please disable the Sonos skill, then log out of all Amazon accounts on your device. Then, Enable the Sonos skill linking with the same Amazon account that has been added as a music service within the Sonos App.

Okay. Can you Disable the Sonos skill again and then ensure that you log out of ALL Amazon Apps on your device. Then Enable the same Amazon account that you have added as a music service within the Sonos App.

I am having a bizarre problem and could use some guidance. I recently purchased an Alexa Echo Dot and I am new to Alexa but very familiar with SmartThings and devices. I have a house full of smartthings and a SmartThings Hub, Hue Hub, multiple Sonos speakers, Caseta hub, Nest thermostats, etc.

I then proceeded to go into the SmartThings app, and I found the Alexa SmartApp, and I deleted it, thinking this would allow me to disable the skill in Alexa. It did not work, but it did kill all of the integration of my Smartthings devices in Alexa. I still, however, could not disable the skill in Alexa.

I factory reset my Echo Dot. That did not work. I then called Alexa support. They factory reset the Dot again, tried some other stuff, but in the end, the problem remains. I was told to submit the issue using the support button at the bottom of the SmartThings skill in the Alexa app, which I did.

All I want to do is start from scratch, but I cannot disable the skill, which is a pre-requisite to re-enabling the skill and re-linking the account. And now that I deleted the SmartApp in SmartThings, I have completely broken the integration.

It is working again for me too! Technology is great again. I really need to take a step back and remember this is a hobby (for me at least). This integration issue bothered me for a good 24 hours. Like most petty things everything turned out okay in short order.

Use the Skill Enablement REST API to enable and disable an Alexa skill for a developer or an Amazon customer. If you enable a skill for a customer, the API links the customer's Amazon account with the customer's account in another system.

A successful response returns HTTP 204 No Content that indicates that the skill is enabled. On error, the response returns the appropriate HTTP status code and includes a response body with an error code and human readable message.

Enable the specified skill for the specified customer, and then link the customer's Amazon account to the customer's account in another system. For details about how this API fits into app-to-app account linking, see How it works.

A successful response returns HTTP 201 Created, along with the skill enablement status. On error, the response returns the appropriate HTTP status code and includes a response body with an error code and human readable message.

A successful response returns HTTP 204 No Content that indicates the skill is disabled. On error, the response returns the appropriate HTTP status code and includes a response body with an error code and human readable message.

A successful response returns HTTP 200 OK that indicates the skill is disabled and the accounts are unlinked. On error, the response returns the appropriate HTTP status code and includes a response body with an error code and human readable message.

Check whether the specified skill is enabled for the customer, and then check whether the customer's Amazon account and the customer's account in another system are linked. You must make this request to the same endpoint that you used in Enable skill and account link.

A successful response returns HTTP 200 OK, along with the skill and account linking statuses. On error, the response returns the appropriate HTTP status code and includes a response body with an error code and human readable message.

Get the Alexa API endpoint for the specified customer. The returned endpoint is based on where the customer's Amazon account is registered. Use this endpoint when you call the Skill Enablement APIs for the customer.

If the request returns more than one endpoint, then the Alexa service couldn't determine the correct endpoint for the customer. When you call the Skill Enablement API, you must call each of the endpoints in sequence. Only one endpoint will succeed.

A successful response returns HTTP 200 OK, along with a list of Alexa endpoints. On error, the response returns the appropriate HTTP status code and includes a response body with an error code and human readable message. If the status code is 5XX, call the Skill Enablement APIs by using the following endpoints in sequence:

I'd like to be able disable the keybinding for this spell (Back + RB/RT if I recall correctly, I'm not sitting in front of my Xbox to double check), but still be able to use it from the Ring Menu. Regardless, for this particular skill, the problem I have is accidentally casting it when I'm trying to cast something else that requires those buttons, and move and whatnot, then I get locked into a long animation and get pummeled. I'd like to have the option to only use the skill from the Ring Menu, thus ensuring that I never accidentally start casting it.

only downside I am seen so far is that if you are sitting still on a horse and try to open one of those rings to open the map, your horse takes off in a full sprint. for that instance I use that start menu.

This has worked well for me so far. But I really don't like having to scroll through the Start Menu, and my rings are set up to avoid that as much as possible. for people who don't mind the start menu, they will have a lot more space on the rings to work with.

Change your keybinds? I know I would hate to having to get out of combat to link something in chat, since there are plenty of situations where you can't get out of combat immediately (or even in a moderate timeframe). Things like linking a poi in the middle of a meta event fight to help a guild mate that lost their way to the event, or linking a skill to your squad to announce that you'll drop a portal in wvw.

If "link to chat" would have its own keybind that you could change, that would probably be an easier way to fix your problem. Maybe if you posted this to the "QoL suggestions" thread, somebody at ANet could pick it up when they get around to adding siege turtle keybinds to the game.

I agree that allowing us to change the keybinding for linking stuff in chat would be preferable to disabling it in combat because there's often times when I do want to link something in chat during a fight.

There's a few keybindings which can't be changed for some reason and it's annoying. I assume if Anet event brings out official controller (and possibly Steam Deck) support they'll need to make it possible to change those, but even if not it would be a big improvement.

Every time I use the skill menu I get a crash to desktop. I can get away with it if I sit very slowly and let each movie play one at a time, but even then it can still get sketchy. I looked into it and there are a number of other people who have the same issue. (There's a thread on the steam forums for it.

I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) the culprit is the preview movies themselves. A mod that replaces the movies with a lower quality smaller video, or preferably just disables them all together would make a huge difference to me and I believe others mind find it useful.

I was actually attempting to do it myself, but I'm pretty out of my depth. I believe the videos are in the pak archive below,
