A few students admitted to the programs are awarded merit scholarships equivalent to full tuition fees. The Institute shall draw a list of students eligible for merit scholarship based on the admission ranks drawn from Gujarat and All India Categories separately. In addition, five merit-cum-means scholarships are offered to the students with highest ranks subject to a means test.

Registered candidates are strongly advised to prioritize the REGULAR SEAT option over the PAID SEAT option for their preferred course. If a candidate chooses a PAID SEAT despite having chances of qualifying for a REGULAR SEAT based on merit, he/she will be allotted the PAID SEAT. Allotment will strictly adhere to the candidate's "Preference Order" and merit. It is important to note that the candidate will be fully responsible for his/her preference order and eventual allotment. Preference Order can only be changed during the correction window period (24.07.2023 - 26.07.2023). No change will be entertained after the correction period is over.

In this case, the candidate will be allotted the B.A. (Hons.) Hindi PAID SEAT (first choice) even though he/she fulfills the merit requirements for B.A. (Hons.) Hindi REGULAR SEAT (the second choice).

However, minimum eligibility criteria for admission in various degree programs as laid down in the Admission Policy shall have to be maintained for the confirmationof admission. The selected candidates are required to deposit their fee with in due date of merit list, failing which their candidature shall stand cancelled.

The Ministry will declare the EMRS Recruitment 2023 Cut Off after the exam is finished. To be eligible and listed on the EMRS Merit List 2023, candidates have to achieve a score higher than the Cut-Off marks.
