Welcometo the 31st season of summer movies in Bryant Park! Bring a blanket and a friend, and snag your spot on the lawn to watch a feature film on the big screen under the stars. The lawn opens 5pm; film begins 8pm.

To be young and carefree amid the blue waters and idyllic landscape of sun-drenched Italy in the late 1950s? That's la dolce vita Tom Ripley (Matt Damon) craves and Dickie Greenleaf (Jude Law) leads. When Dickie's father asks Tom to bring his errant playboy son back home to America, Dickie and his beautiful expatriate girlfriend, Marge Sherwood (Gwyneth Paltrow), never suspect the dangerous extremes to which Ripley will go to make their lifestyle his own.

A cocky ad executive, Marcus (Eddie Murphy) has a reputation as a ladies' man. Marcus, however, gets a taste of his own medicine when a merger finds him working under the beautiful Jacqueline (Robin Givens), who has a similarly cavalier attitude about romance. Marcus and Jacqueline become involved, but he is put off by her noncommittal approach to their relationship. Meanwhile, Marcus also begins to develop feelings for the pretty Angela (Halle Berry), who is more thoughtful than Jacqueline.

The Roman emperor's son, Commodus (Joaquin Phoenix), is enraged when he is passed over as heir in favor of his father's favorite general, Maximus (Russell Crowe). Commodus kills his own father (Richard Harris), then arranges the murder of the Maximus and his family. Maximus narrowly escapes, only to be sold as a slave and trained as a gladiator, but his subsequent popularity in the arena threatens the throne.

After discovering his girlfriend (Juliette Lewis) has been participating in illicit affairs, attorney Mitch (Luke Wilson) feels his world come undone. He moves into a new place, which happens to be near a college campus, and tries to get his life back together. Two of his best friends, Frank (Will Ferrell) and Beanie (Vince Vaughn), start hanging out at Mitch's house, eventually turning the place into a wild party pad, much to the ire of the college's dean, Gordon "Cheese" Pritchard (Jeremy Piven), who aims to make their lives difficult.

Dispatched on an assignment, New York City-based fashion photographer Dick Avery (Fred Astaire) is struck by the beauty of Jo Stockton (Audrey Hepburn), a shy bookstore employee he photographed by accident, who he believes has the potential to become a successful model. He gets Jo to go with him to France, where he snaps more pictures of her against iconic Parisian backdrops. In the process, they fall for one another, only to find hurdles in their way.

When Salvatore grows up, falls in love with a beautiful local girl (Agnese Nano), and takes over as the Paradiso's projectionist, Alfredo must convince Salvatore to leave his small town and pursue his passion for filmmaking.

When gigantic spacecraft touch down in 12 locations around the world, linguistics professor Louise Banks (Amy Adams) leads an elite team of investigators. As nations teeter on the verge of global war, Banks and her crew must race against time to find a way to communicate with the extraterrestrial visitors. Hoping to unravel the mystery, she takes a chance that could threaten her life, and quite possibly all of mankind.

Rose (Kate Winslet) is a young aristocrat who boards the ill-fated maiden voyage of the RMS Titanic, the most luxurious liner of her era, with her arrogant and condescending fianc. She then meets Jack (Leonardo di Caprio), a drifter and artist, and they fall in love on the legendary journey, which ultimately carried over 1,500 people to their death in the ice cold waters of the North Atlantic in the early hours of April 15, 1912.

Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs, picnic baskets and blankets to view the film outdoors, free of charge, on a huge inflatable screen on the flight deck. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis and space is limited. Light concessions will be sold onsite, and visitors are encouraged to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages. Alcohol is NOT permitted. All exits are final; there is no re-entry allowed. Doors open at 5:00pm and close at 8:30pm. The movie will begin at sunset.

There is no better place to be on a hot summer night than watching a classic film and enjoying the breeze off of the East River with the dazzling Manhattan skyline before you. Each evening, the lawn opens at 5:00 PM on a first come, first serve basis, and the movie begins at sunset. Enjoy a range of concessions and beverages for sale on site, along with our Bar by Fornino for those 21+ to enjoy.

No, all Movies With A View events are open to all ages. However, guardians should be aware that titles may include PG-13 and R rated selections, which are clearly noted. We encourage guardians to do their own research ahead of time to ensure the movie is suiting and appropriate for your children. Additionally, all minors should be accompanied by an adult. The Conservancy is not responsible for gauging appropriateness of titles for movie-goers.

Unfortunately, no to both. Chairs (other than wheelchairs) are not allowed on the lawn, so please bring your own picnic blanket. Portable stadium-style cushion seats without legs or hard pieces are a great option. Dogs are not allowed on the lawns at any time, per Park rules.

For those who require physical accommodations, there is a limited reserved seating area at the top of the lawn (on the hardscape). Please bring your own chair, and see a Conservancy staff member the welcome tent at top of the lawn to inquire.

Transportation Alternatives will once again be providing free bike valet services for moviegoers at the Pier 1 Turnaround lot off Furman Street. Movie goers may also use bike rack near the Pier 1 entrance. Bikes will not be allowed onto the lawn, and should not be locked to fences or other unauthorized areas.

As of May 23, 2011, Brooklyn Bridge Park is a smoke-free park, consistent with New York City law. On April 29, 2014, the Smoke-Free Air Act was expanded to include the use electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes). The law is intended to make parks healthier and cleaner places to visit.
