Job Description: Celebrity Publicity Assistant
w/Experience Needed:
PRStudio USA, media strategy and personal brand consulting firm is in need of an assistant for the following position:
Assistant:
Manage company blog and social media posts
Pick up the extra slack in terms of client campaign implementation - light pitching, coordinating interviews, setting up photos shoots
Calendar Management - Coordinating the press calendars of all the clients and the employees who need to cover
Assistance at Red Carpet events and Press Junkets with our clients - walking them, taking care of tickets, seating etc
Travel Logistics when there is travel involved
Overall Organization of all office and client related materials
Making and culling Cision Lists when necessary to meet the needs of the client campaign
Ability to work in small office
Photoshop skills to create brand books to be used to secure endorsement campaigns
Mocking UP Press Clips and servicing to clients
Keeping everything organized, on track and making sure nothing falls through the cracks – so gets where they need to be etc
Will be heavily relied upon to keep their boss organized and on schedule with her client responsibilities.
SKILLS:
- Knows Cision WELL
- Knows and works with all the applications within Microsoft Office for MAC
- Has worked with marketing programs such as Mailchimp and/or Constant Contact or any related marketing mail merge program
- A strong writer - creative, smart, enjoys it – good editing and grammar
- Is proficient in Social Media and can manage the blog - uses Wordpress
- Has office experience handling logistics, finding out information, working on travel, is responsive and takes initiative
- Watches a lot of TV and loves to go to the movies and theater
- Experience doing press mock ups at past job and has some experience internship or otherwise specifically working in an agency setting in FASHION, BEAUTY FILM, TV, STREAMING or PERSONAl Publicity
