Hi everyone

RC1 of the next Ninject version 3.0.0 including all extenions is available from NuGet from now. Currently installation of pre releases from nuget is limited to the nuget console using the following commands:

Install-Package Ninject -IncludePrelease
Update-Package Ninject -IncludePrelease

Please try if this version works for your project and submit a bug request otherwise on https://github.com/ninject.

Detailed informations about the changes will follow in the coming days on my blog: http://www.planetgeek.ch/author/remo-gloor/ Until then have a look at the releasenotes.txt

Please wait in case you need an extension package.

There seems to be a small deployment issue that needs to be fixed first. I'll leave another note when it is fixed.

Sorry for the inconvinience

Works for me. I'm building from sources though and don't use NuGet at
the moment.

Manfred.

The deployment on nuget is now fixed. Because it is not possible to delete or modify packaged the release number has been changed to rc2.

Is it possible to provide Silverlight 5 compiled binaries as well with
the release?

SL5 is not yet supported by Nant which is used to build the project. You have to wait until this support is added before a real SL5 build is available. The SL4 build seems to work for SL5 though. If SL5 support is not available for Nant, the release probably contains the identical builds for SL4 and SL5 anyway.

Hi Everyone

Ninject 3.0.0-RC3 is available from Nuget. Additionally to fixing the problems with the .NET 4.0 build it adds support for SL5, and WP7.1

Please try to switch your projects to the release and give here some feedback if this release behaves nicely for your projects so that I can push the final version in near future.

I recently built the extension against the MVC4 libraries for testing purposes and it seems to work without any changes to the source code. This means you should be able to use the MVC3 build. But it might require that you redirect MVC3 references to MVC4 in the web config. But to be honest I haven’t tested running MVC4 with the MVC3 library myself yet. Alternatively you can get the source code from github change the references to MVC4 and build it yourself. This will definitely work. Also I planned to do a MVC4 NuGet prerelease shortly after 3.0.0 has been released.

using -IncludePrelease does't work btw, you get a "parameter not
found" exception

try...
PM> Update-Package Ninject -Prerelease

You need NuGet 1.6
