release candidates

Hi,

Can we have release candidates before the final release? Linux have
(well Linus does) weekly release candidates, git also have something
similar (not too frequently I think).

What you think? Is it not worth at all for ninja? Would that require
too much effort by the part of maintainer?

It hasn't yet been an issue, so I'd prefer to avoid it until it solves a problem we have.  I think the only people eagerly building new Ninja releases are the Chrome team and they work pretty closely on Ninja, testing new patches as they come in.
