I am sorry I have been slow to respond to patches lately.  I actually haven't myself used Ninja in something like two years -- these days I work on a Python/JavaScript/Android app that I chose in part for the change of pace.  (Let me tell you: hell is other people's build systems.)

Nico has already been doing the bulk of the work of maintaining Ninja, but I thought I'd make it official and transfer the project to him.  Nico's done a ton of work on Ninja and Chrome build stuff and I trust his judgement; he's been even more demanding than I was about performance.

Practically, I think this means not a lot will change.  I will still be around on the lists and for the occasional code review.  (We might end up with a new domain or github location.)  But mostly I want Nico to feel he has the authority to merge what he sees fit and reject the things he doesn't like.  So please feel free to ping him if he's taking too long to review your code.  :P

I too think (hope) that not too much will change. Please tell me if I screw something up too much :-)

I merged a few pending pull requests, and I'd like to do a 1.5 release in the next month or two. I consider https://github.com/martine/ninja/issues/730 and the discussion at the bottom of https://github.com/martine/ninja/pull/697 things that should probably be resolved somehow before then. And I suppose a Windows implementation for the new console pool feature (see other thread on this list) would be a nice-to-have.
