-j for pools?

I was wondering if there was something like a "-j" flag, but for (non-default) pools? It seems like the only way to configure the depth of a pool is from the .ninja file (in other words, at generation time), but I'd like to be able to tweak certain pool sizes without regenerating the .ninja file.
