imean i dont want to cry, but its unplayable. Nearly 90% of my deaths are white names with weard headshots, there are no fights or someting the just headshot me instantly. When i go inside a raid with nothing only pistol i dont die. When i put gear on and good stuff, i get fast instant headshots. I mean i know all spawns and i dont play the first time, this is nearly insane and it sucks and makes not even fun anymore. BSG try to ban people but it feels every wipe bad asf then before.
White name and you not understanding how you didnt die isnt a cheater automatically. Its probably not even a cheater 99% of the time. People shoot headshots as they down an opponent regardless of gear the fastest.
And when I go with a full gear, I dont die. Its a matter of playstyle. With a pistol your probably play in a way where your pacing is different and you move more. With gear, you might be an easier target as you are slower and scan & aim around.
ok mr standard edition, i have EOD and play nearly 2k hours. You guys are extremly lucky when you think there are no cheaters or maybe 10%, there are so many with esp and a lot with aimlock or something.
p4annus has been shilling this for literally YEARS, I stopped playing about 4 wipes ago because of the cheaters (back when BSG refused to implement battleeye and admit there was a problem) and he was STILL saying the same poo.
Also at interchange looting the computers while hearing shots hiting the walls where i am, i droped the bag and ran, the dude comes chasing me, i hold a angle and he trys shooting the wall, i drop down for extact he comes and headeyes me.
The truth is there is a massive cheating problem. Another issue is when you know you've been killed by cheaters multiple times in a day, it's easy to fall into the mind state of calling hax upon death when it's the slightest bit suspicious. There's a ton of cheaters out there that make it much less noticeable so they don't get banned such as only turning on walls. Late early, mid and end wipe I'm usually bringing in meta gear almost every single game because I can since I consider myself a better than average chad that has no problem with money, but once you do this, you notice a huge shift in "active" cheaters since these guys are literally hunting you down for your gear or rage hacking. I'm not one to call cheats unless I know they were cheating, but they're easy to spot if you've played enough and don't have your head buried in the ground.
Ofc theres cheaters. Theres cheaters in all games and will always be, unless we implement a totally orwellian system for surveillance of players and their computers. Ive never denied that there arent any and I never will, Ive seen a few. Approx 3-5 that Im sure of, during my 5+ years of EFT.
Ive seen 1000x more noobs with their big egos, coping that all their killers are cheaters because they cant explain the deaths and cant handle the fact that they are not as good as they were when they were playing COD or Insurgency:Sandstorm. Ive seen 100s of cheat reports in the megathread that were desync or lag. There used to be such bad desync in EFT that when the server caught up to what the players had been doing, they all flew super fast through the air to where their actual position was. That was a long time a go, but you get the point.
There is a big cheater Problem in Eft! its mostly like he said: low gear no prob @all but high gear and/or some good loot like GPU or somthing like that i often get killed by very suspicius players mostly with white names... Bullets trying to hit me behind walls / in house etc ... from people who defenetly cant know my position or that iam there, then there are the ones who talk to me like: drop this or that, maybe there are some kind of magican who know whats inside my backpack. maybe thats just desync and lag or some big big gaming chair or its my big ego that makes the bullets fly direktly into my head from a long distance in under 1 sec coming around a corner.
It feels like a pubg path all over again. Devs seem to have the same approach and it only took 6 years for pubg to fail. Then the devs actuallly started acting after the lost over 90% of their player base. SAME path, different game. All I can say is hopefully they enjoy the money they are making from it right now because it is not going to be around for too long.
Warehouse was empty everything quiet.. when I was in the far corner totally obscured from view and protected from walls and that curtain adjacent to the barrel fire. A shot just missed my head. but I wait, then a nade, comes out of no where and kills me.
yep it's true. i swear, tarkov is biggest cheat festival i ever seen in all my whole gamer life and things just going worse and worse with every big update. mostly time when i bring some better stuff in raid it's finishes with insta headshot no matter it's day or total rainy night with ultra no noise movement. just check cheat forums how many views have those threads.. ??
Get a few stacks of good ammo on you and the cheaters will instantly swarm to you. They can see your loot from far and come only if it's something that sells on the flea market. Good ammo always sells and it is less suspicious than a stack of 20 ledx
The headshots are out of hand, that's for sure. I found wearing a good faceshield helps.
That one helmet where you can't hear poo when you wear it is pretty cheap and sound isn't working anyways so i might aswell rund around completely deaf.
I had a guy head eyes me from the highway on interchange. I was at the big window for a split second, I saw him, zoomed in, he immediately spins around head eyes me as soon as my crosshairs touched his body. checked his level, 44.
Game's worst it's been in a long time. 4000 hours here, came back to try streets....and I am over this wipe along with the rest of us who just want the audio fixed and cheaters addressed. See you all next wipe for the first 2 weeks when the game is actually fun again.
Cheating is a term that describes the use of third-party programs or material changes in order to gain an unfair advantage in gameplay. Valve has a strict policy against cheating and will ban detected cheats with the Valve Anti-Cheat system (abbreviated to "VAC").
Aimbots automatically aim at an enemy for the player. This can be customized to ignore Spy's cloak, disguise, or Medic's Vaccinator and have "legit" features (features which attempt to disguise cheating behavior) such as smoothing.
Anti-aim is to constantly change the direction you are looking to prevent being headshot. This is sometimes done by modifying the view angles of the player by editing the values in pitch or yaw into an out-of-bound value, so the player can appear facing one direction, when in reality the real hitbox is facing the other direction. This is often referred to as a "fake angle".
Anti-anti-aim, or Aim resolver, attempts to brute-force the enemy's real model by shooting at certain locations until a headshot occurs. Certain cheats can also "force" an enemy cheater's viewangles, so that they may manually resolve their anti-aim.
Autostrafing, or auto airstrafing, refers to automatically airstrafing left or right when your mouse moves left or right. Also has a silent variant, as well as a directional variant which allows pressing movement keys to move in directions that the cheater is not facing.
If a player or bot is holding the Intelligence or Mann vs. Machine bomb and they get backtracked, the Intelligence (or bomb) gets teleported to the position they were backtracked to. NPCs, such as the Tank Robot or ghosts, can not be backtracked due to them not being lag compensated. Cheaters cannot backtrack with projectile weapons due to the same reason.
It's possible to "store" random Crits by filling up the "crit bucket", which can then be used at will by a cheater. Melee weapons do not follow this Crit bucket system, which allows them to Crit 100% of the time with cheats.
Fake latency refers to artifically increasing or decreasing ping to the server. Decreasing ping has no effect on gameplay and the real ping can be found by typing ping in the console. Increasing ping will also increase the amount of lag compensation done by the Source Engine, allowing cheaters to shoot people behind walls much easier.
This introduces a big imprecision (as it gets rounded more and more). The client can predict the pattern generated by the server as you only need a value approximately close to that of the servers, and the rounding will do the rest, which will allow for no spread-like properties to work. Casual servers generally do not stay up long enough for this cheat to be effective, but some community servers may.
Originally a bug that would allow player actions when taunting if you taunted right before you fell off something. Cheaters took advantage of this so they could taunt slide whenever they taunted, without needing to fall off anything.
Another form of speedhacking rose soon after the original speedhacking was patched out, known as "viewangle speed hack"; it would allow for higher than normal velocities, but wouldn't have the same effects of normal speedhacking.
