The ifone takes the appearance of a phone. When you get called, the call screen is a generic call screen a green and red button, and a picture of Jermbo in the middle. The image of the ifone in the toolbar is a picture of the phone when getting called.
The ifone is an item from the GUI Shop that can be bought for 175 coins. The ifone makes a camera shutter sound when interacted with, and you can occasionally get called by Jermbo. You can only decline Jermbo's call, and you can get jumpscared when the camera shutter sound effect is played.
This isn't strictly what this site is for. If you're requesting things like artwork to appear for a jumpscare, then there are other sites for this like reddit. StackOverflow is for receiving answers to specific question, not asking how to make a general concept.
But from what I can see, you're particularly new to game development. That's okay! But from experience, it's better to take a step back and focus on a smaller project. I started last year and tried to make a big project but it didn't work out. Make something small and then start working your way up, learning and learning and learning! That's when it's going to be a lot easier to create large-scale games.
Who doesn't love a good jump scare during the spookiest time of the year? Personally, I love a good theme. So, I go all out for Halloween. That means watching all the best movies that this time of year has to offer.
I can't watch scary movies except for this time of year. It just fits the overall fall vibe. That's the only time you'll catch me willing to be afraid. I do that as a favor to the rest of humanity. Trust me, you do NOT want to be in the theater with me during a spooky movie... I scream. Jump scares always do me so dirty. I scream so loud and then start laughing. It's my process.
A recent survey has determined the most popular scary movies in every state. I have to say, I don't agree with some of the movies they named for New Jersey. But, who am I to argue with the masses? I definitely don't agree with the movie they named the number one most popular horror movie here in NJ, though.
Really? Are people this obsessed with this one? The movie JUST came out! How did this one beat out the likes of Pennywise, Freddy Kreuger, and Michael Myers?? Makes no sense to me, but apparently, I'm overruled.
We're also making a remastered version of this for steam, coming soon! Please give it a wishlist if you're interested, it helps tell steam that we're worth showing to more folks, plus you'll get an email when it goes on sale. _Honest/
I remember I played survey games before and I LOVED it so when I got in the mood for survey horror I tried looking up and woah I just realized you've made a lot! I'll try to check them out one by one :D
what I can piece together of the lore (this is just my interpretation!): The "person" asking you this questions is some kind of demonic fallen angel, and it wants to steal people's eyes. It is judging how good a candidate you are for it to prey on you. There seems like there's more hidden lore, but I can't find everything... time to play through it again :)
Honestly, I think the entity is a fairy associated with owls and wants to kidnap the player. In "See you in x" and "Spoilsport" feature a fae-like entity. Taking eyes seem very fae-like to me. The "Candidate" and "See you in x" implies that the entity is planning to kidnap/indoctrinate the player and using the quiz to scout out their next victim. "Spoilsport" also implies that the entity also views the quiz as some sort of game which falls in line with the fact that fairies are also depicted as having different morals than humans.
that's interesting. I like that idea, but there's also the "I am"-"angels are" and a few other references that make me think that the entity is a fallen angel-like creature, but I also like the fae theory. And associating it with owls makes a lot of sense, because 1) Owls have large eyes and good vision, which would tie into the whole "stealing your eyes" thing 2) There are a few pictures next to the quiz with owls. I like your theory!
Another thing I noticed: There is an ending called "Friend". I was aware of it at the time(because of the credits) but I haven't actually seen the ending screen. Someone else in the comments got that ending and it said that the entity is planning to transform the player. The existence of the "Friend" implies that there is a difference between it and "Candidate".
While consumer appetite for international shopping grows, businesses face significant hurdles in meeting this demand. Key challenges include customs duty calculations, import regulations, trade restrictions, and complex shipping requirements. As companies hesitate to expand internationally due to these barriers, consumers find themselves with a narrower range of products available to choose from.
These regulatory challenges directly impact the consumer experience. Consumers surveyed say their top reasons for cart abandonment in cross-border shopping are expensive shipping, long delivery times, and unclear final costs at checkout. Exacerbating the issue, 75% of businesses surveyed use Delivered at Place shipping, leaving customers responsible for unexpected customs clearance, duties, and taxes upon delivery. 30% of businesses surveyed globally exclusively use this approach, despite it being a key pain point for consumers.
The consequences are stark: 58% of consumers that buy cross border products report surprise customs charges upon delivery, with 30% describing these costs as "shocking." This lack of transparency significantly impacts customer loyalty, with 75% of shoppers reconsidering future purchases from a business after experiencing hidden, surprise fees due to customs duties charges when shopping cross-border, while nearly half refuse delivery altogether.

You are participating in a study that aims to determine the effects of low-frequency sounds on the human body. Previous studies have shown that these frequencies can cause odd sensations that people attribute to Paranormal Encounters. What will you experience?
Video starts at 12:20. I swear I have no idea where you could have hidden all those pages lol. But the twist ending was really great! Wish the noise for the frequency was a bit louder but I guess its meant to be low. Overall good game that actual got me scared at the end haha.
I really like that twist ending and the simple task of the game. Honestly I could not find all the pages after playing this 3 times. I did a gameplay for this below. If you'd like you can check it out; have a great day! :)
Interesting paranormal take with the audio aspect. I feel the game could have dropped the jumpscares (as they felt unnecessarily loud) and built up a more unsettling atmosphere, but no one could have expected THAT TWIST ENDING!
I really liked how the developer incorporated actual scientific studies of the paranormal effects of low-frequency sound in the game. It makes the playing experience grounded in reality more than if it were just a few jump scares, which this game would've been at its core. Even though the low-frequency sound heard in the game didn't affect me at all, I can see how it would put anyone on edge during gameplay. It can give off that "edge of your seat" feeling, the feeling of knowing some threat will come soon. The hidden notes are a great touch in the game's replayability. The concept of finding hidden objects and messages in games for replayability isn't new, but it's not often used in indie horror games. Usually, indie developers rely on having different endings to entice gamers to replay their game more than once. The survey at the end was also a nice touch.
this game is a well made 5 to 10 minute game definitely worth playing the spooks were decent and the atmosphere is creepy and the twist at the end is good if you want to see my playthrough of this here it is
I really enjoyed this! The right amount of spooks. Going to all the links, finding all the notes, and the survey made it even more enjoyable for me. I love when a game does that always feels more immersive, a little ARG-ish.
