Hi Alex and all,

Another possible fix needed.

Following on the last problem where I created all the tags and folders
then changed my mind, I tried a quick braindump into the top level and
the moved them to new folders that I created by group. I did not
bother to add any tags.

I ended up with everything in subfolders and wondered how to do a
quick review to see where it all was. So I tried "Find Notes" from
the Top folder and "without any tags" as the filter.

Nothing came back. Did I miss something in how it should work, or am
I just a pedantic *&#! who looks at boundary condition tests too
much ?

cheers
Roger

Hi Roger

I knew of this bug and I fixed it last night, _and_ decided to not
include it in the Feature (and fixes) Queue. I felt adding a mention
to an "unknown by all" feature would be pointless, and I had intended
to add a more general "and miscellaneous bug fixes".

And then you wrote. And I just pinched myself. So now, I changed my
mind and added the bug description ("FIXED: unable to "Find Notes"
when tags database is empty" ) to the DONE list, as you will be glad
to know the fix -- and a bunch of other features -- will be released
tomorrow or Saturday.

By the way, workaround for this is to have at least one tag in the
tags database.

Cheers
Alex

Alex,

Another minor anomaly in R1.

You know how I like to keep the HOME folder empty - sort of an
inbox. ...

I tried the /T command as it was active in the menu and the thing
hangs. Wont take input in the app, but will allow it to be switched
out by starting a different app. Can restart app again and all is
fine, so it is just confused at that point.

BTW, I am also running a T3 if you need confirmation of anything in
your R3 fix.

Thanks for another great bug finding, Roger. Trying to start tagging
on an empty space (no notes) does a soft hang.

I just fixed it (as well as tested this on more forms -- reminding,
filing, finding, etc -- with no other problems of the sort) and
awaiting R3 release.

Thanks
Alex
