With sincere regrets, we will not be able to host the soups course this year, as our contractor has confirmed that our property will still be a construction site, with no visitors permitted due to insurance regulations.

Hope you haven't made plans, the gastronomic event of the year takes place Sat. Sept. 1st 2012, beginning at around 3:00pm this year.  

I think everyone agreed last years event was probably the best, biggest, and most delicious progressive dinner in it's 40?, 50? year history.

I'm still salivating over Bob's crème cheese pizza, Gilmors / Rowe lobster bisque, crisp salad on the beach (and the view from the Pfenningers) + delicious main and desert. 

Variety is the spice of life, so there's no reason we have to host the same course every year.  First to firm it up gets choice.

Start 3:00 Appetizer/Hors d'oeuvre 

4:00 Soup etc. 

5:00 Salad

6:00 Main BBQ host + Corn + Starch Sides (Moore /Yacht club) Unless someone else wants to host the main?

8:00 Desert+Coffee

If others want to participate but don't have the facilities feel free to potluck with neighbours and help them with preparations.

The Main stop will provide the BBQ's + sides but BYO main, eg. steak.  This is also a BYO beverage event.

Deadline to firm up your participation is Friday Aug. 24th, so please reply to me ASAP to propose a course and approximate # of people in your party.
