I was so excited when I heard about this tour- this kind of thing is right up my alley! More than expecting to hear about any actual ghosts, I felt like this would be a great opportunity to hear about some of the more unusual history of the town, and it definitely was!
The tour was on a hayride, and we went on one of the later tours, so it was pretty much dark by the time it started. During that particular tour which was on Friday night, there were lots of people setting off fireworks at their houses, so we got a fireworks show along with our tour, which was really fun and just added to the whole hayride experience!
We arrived early in the day, and after a morning at La Jolla Beach, we were ready to explore Old Town in San Diego and get our bearings before our tour that night. We found a free parking lot which happened to be near the Old Town Trolley Tours and Ghosts and Gravestones. Both tours are part of the same company and utilize trolleys, which is something I really like when my feet are tired!

Last year, we traveled to Edinburgh, Scotland for a quick mini-moon after our wedding in Somerset, England. We spent 4 days exploring old castles, climbing rolling hills and of course, sharing some Scottish whiskey with friends. I want to keep each part of these Trip Reports as short and sweet (and maybe picture-filled) as I can, so you can easily pick out the major details.
The "Haunting at the Museum" will be held from 5:30-8 p.m., beginning at the Alabama Museum of Natural History, 427 Sixth Ave. The event will include guided candlelit ghost walks around the Quad, ghost stories at the Gorgas House Museum, 810 Capstone Drive, and spooky crafts for kids in Smith Hall at the Alabama Museum of Natural History.
Venture into the world of spirits on this fun Key West ghost tour for all ages, whether you believe in ghosts or not, as we visit some spooky, haunted locations. Grab your camera and come along, if you dare!
Excellent!! This is a great tour which is based on historical facts about Key West plus stories of ghostly activity that has been happening for years. Susan was our guide and she did a fantastic job. Highly recommended!!! This was the best part of our visit to the Keys.
We have been to key west 9x , it was fascinating learning history about these buildings that we never even noticed before but had walked by so many times. The stories are really interesting, Susan was great. Highly recommend. We had done that trolley tour ghost tour before, this one was far superior.
I am a ghost tour guide myself in Wisconsin. Ted is a fantastic tour guide. Enthusiastic and professional. He knows how to handle rowdy participants and people walking by the tour. Highly recommend this tour.

With Fort Washita closed and no plans for any ghost tours, Sam organizes an interview for storytellers to share their tales. In this first of two parts, hear the history of the fort and spooky tales involving the parade grounds, vanishing dogs, the west barracks, the blacksmith shop, and the spring-well head.
For our interview session at Fort Washita, we got some spine-tingling stories from some amazing storytellers. The trip was worth the drive. With the original episode running over an hour, I decided to split this into two parts. I hope you enjoy this first part and stay tuned for more (or you can join me on Patreon and listen to part two right now).
The inn draws people into the restaurant by being a stop on the local ghost tour. And when the tourism slows in the winter, its five bedrooms will be full of ghost hunters, trying to contact the dead.
Enjoy strolling through the "Pearl of the Chesapeake" Rock Hall, Maryland by candlelit lantern. Hear creepy stories of legends and history of pirates of the Chesapeake Bay, and true ghost stories and local legends.
A tour like no other, focusing on several different historical Cities of the Dead at the end of Canal Street. This tour takes its participants by several cemeteries and discusses the history, burial procedures, tomb architecture and local customs.
The owner was very helpful in booking our tour. Cedric was hands down amazing!!!! He made the tour very fun, and if I go back and take another tour, I want him as my tour guide!!! Spooky and informative, we learned a lot about the ghosts and graveyards of New Orleans!! This is a must do tour if you go to NOLA, and make sure you get Cedric!
We toured with Toast (yes tour guide was named Toast), who was absolutely amazing. He told us numerous different stories of the area including hauntings and other parts of New Orleans history. He was incredibly entertaining and the two hours flew by. We went to several different graveyard sites as well as a local park and the old Charity Hospital.
We booked the French Quarter Ghost Tour and it was so much fun. Katrice was an absolute professional when dealing with less than ideal participants and the general rowdy public. She was engaging, educational, and the highlight of our night. We loved hearing the history and the stories as we walked the quarter.

Tour Description: Here in the oldest part of New York City, the spirits of our past are palpable as we stand in its crooked, shadowy streets. In Lower Manhattan there is a wealth of histories ghastly, grim, and stranger-than-fiction.
I've gone on a lot of ghost tours, and while what I write below is specific to our tours - it is also 90% true of the other ghost tours I've been on. Even if you are not interested in ours or actually in San Diego, we strongly encourage you to do your local tour. The majority of the ones we have gone on are amazing!
1. I Don't Care About Ghosts Why Should I Do A Ghost Tour? Our ghost tour is so much more than just ghosts. It is a historic tour with a haunted twist and true crime elements. If you are into history, being in unique locations, and having an intimate entertainment experience, it is for you. Try it I think you will be surprised. And if you don't like it reach out to me to be refunded.
2. You Feel the Experience. It's Interactive. You go to these historic places, breathe the air, hear the sounds, feel these locations' vibes. You have significant interaction with the environment. First time I did our ghost tour this part blew my mind. It was like seeing and being part of a play but so much more. A true experience. I'll never forget my ghost tour experiences. On some of our tours, you'll use ghost hunting equipment.
4. It's EntertainingWe only employ the finest local actors to do our tours. They are entertainers and will give you a performance. On top of that, there is the city itself, the people of said city, and the group you are with. Oh and, no we don't employ ghosts.
7. HistoricalOur tours strive to be historically accurate. It's not just ghost stories because you'll hear stories of bizarre interest, or about events that may have lead to a haunting and had a massive influence on the very city you are standing at. If you are into history at all our tour is for you.
13. RepeatableAfter your first tour, you may want to do it again. Each host does the tour differently. We all know the story, "The Little Red Riding Hood", what's fun is each one of us tells it differently. I might emphasize one part you another, I might have a joke I love and you another, that's the wonder of our hosts. One has been best described as "taking a tour with the little girl from The Adams Family, she is awkward, creepy". Another one I heard was like going on a tour with a smooth operator. He uses big sweeping gestures, maximum style and charm. I could go on.., Arrange with me to go with another host. They are like Pokemon, gotta catch them all!
