GUIDELINES FOR RECRUITMENT OF SENIOR RESIDENTS (2019-20) 

IN GANDHI MEDICAL COLLEGE, SECUNDERABAD, TELANGANA STATE

1. The selection of Senior Residents will be subject wise and it will be for a period of One Year       Only. (01-08-2019 to 01-09-2020).

2. The candidates should be less than 39 years by 31st July 2019.

3. Only the candidates who have MD/MS/DNB degree and registered with Telangana State Medical Council are eligible. 

4. DNB Candidates will be selected as per the latest existing MCI guidelines. 

5. Criteria for Selection A) Marks scored in the PG theory examination. B) Weightage will be given to year of passing (freshers will be given highest weightage) 2019-10 points, 2018-08 points, 2017-06 points, 2015 and below 04 points. C) In case more than one candidate is having the same theory marks in that particular batch, date of birth will be taken into consideration. The older person shall get first preference. 

6. Rule of Reservation will be followed wherever number of posts are more than One, Subject wise. 

7. The Application form will be available at www.gandhihospital.in. Two filled in applications should be submitted along with Xerox copies of documents mentioned in point no. 11 . The last date for submission of application forms is 20 th July 2019, at office of the Principal, Gandhi Medical College, Secunderabad. No applications will be entertained after the cutoff date. 

8. The merit list of candidates (based on the above mentioned criterias) eligible for counseling, specialty wise will be displayed in the college website and college notice board on 25th July 2019. 9. Counselling for the posts of senior resident, Specialty wise will be held on 27th July 2019 at 10 am at Gandhi Medical College, Secunderabad 

10. The candidates shall bring along with them the following originals at the time of counselling a) Aadhar Card. b) Proof of Date of Birth (Aadhar/ SSC /Birth certificate) c) Study/ Bonafide certificates 4th -10th d) Original Marks Memo e) Provisional/Original Degree f) Bonafide/ Study certificate of PG/Super specialty Period. g) Caste certificate for SC/ST/BC issued by competent authority, ( in case of SC/ST specifying caste, In case of BC’s subgroup indicating A, B, C, D and E) h) MBBS Registration from Telangana/AP Medical Council, additional PG qualification registration from Telangana State Medical Council only (without registration application will be rejected). 

11. Selected candidates should submit their original certificates of Degree and Registration of both MBBS and MD/MS/DNB at the time of reporting which will be retained by the College authority for which custodian certificate will be issued by the college. 

12. Selected candidates should join by 01-08-2019. If any vacant position 2nd list will be displayed on 03-08-2019 and the last date of joining will be 06-08-2019. Any further vacancies after this, final counselling and joining of the candidates will be on 13-08-2019. No further filling up of vacant post will be consider after 13-08-2019. 

13. Candidate once selected and joined in any Government Medical College and if discontinues within One Year, he/she will not be allowed for any future selections also. 

14. If a candidate wants to leave Senior Residency, he/she should give one month notice, following which only original documents will be returned. 

15. All the selected candidates have to submit cancelled cheque with IFSC Code. 

16. Candidates will have to join within a week of receiving the order. 

17. Accommodation will be provided where ever available. 

18. Counselling will be conducted for all the posts.
