thanks for your kind words and glad you're finding it useful.

Regarding your use case, we at Metabroadcast have a similar requirement and here's how we do it: http://metabroadcast.com/blog/logfile-lovin-marrying-nimrod-and-nagios-for-software-visibility

Basically, you just have to gather logs, with a tool such as Syslog, Scribe or Flume, and move them into a single log file that Nimrod listens to.
Once you have all your metrics consolidated into the Nimrod server, you can also run further statistical analysis with Nimrod-Incanter: https://github.com/sbtourist/nimrod-incanter
