Let's launch this mailing list with the announcement of a brand new release!
Nimrod is a metrics server focused on easy and not-invasive metrics
extraction and publishing: in order to accomplish so, it extracts
metrics from your own application logs, and publishes them through the
ubiquitous JSON-over-HTTP protocol/data format, providing also
fundamental statistical for each metric, and history management.
Despite being very young, Nimrod is already used in several
development and production deployments, and the freshly released 0.2
version builds upon this concrete real world experience, providing
several bug fixes and performance improvements, a configurable
time-based history eviction and a Java-based logging class to help
developers logging metrics in the Nimrod format.
