This is a well equipped workshop and project space with a nice bedroom on the top floor. I used it intensely between 2020-24 for halldorophone development and production but am now working more out of Iceland and want it to be in better use for instrument making and experimentation. I want to get an informal residency vibe going for instrument makers at Spetson in coming years.

So if you're working on an instrument build, specifically a fabrication-heavy project this would be a good place to camp out for focussed work. I am also up for consults on instrument design in general as well as ergonomics, interaction design, materiality and fabrication.

The neighbourhood is good. Kypseli is full of artists and musicians and KET, a great experimental venue is just around the corner (reach out for gig bookings well in advance).

Projects with some overlap with my own work are of interest but not a requirement.

Rates are negotiable and I can be open to some mutually beneficial exchange arrangements.

Longer stays recommended, months if you can swing it. Athens is that kind of place where you want to sink into it.
