Hi,
I've recently developed an R package (
https://cran.r-project.org/web/packages/nimbleCarbon/index.html) similar to nimbleEcology but focused on radiocarbon dating. The package is currently on CRAN and has passed all checks, but now it is getting an Error on r-patched-solaris-x86 (see
here). I was unable to reproduce the error when checking via rhub (see
here) so really have no clue - but was wondering if anyone has possible ideas on where I should start looking. All I got from CRAN check is:
** testing if installed package can be loaded from temporary location

Registering the following user-provided distributions: dExponentialGrowth
Registering the following user-provided distributions: dDoubleExponentialGrowth

Error: package or namespace load failed for ‘nimbleCarbon’:
.onAttach failed in attachNamespace() for 'nimbleCarbon', details:
call: NULL
error: Failed to create the shared library. Run 'printErrors()' to see the compilation errors.
I suspect the error is related to either registerDistributions() or to compileNimble() - (see
here), but that is all I got for now... Thanks in advance!
All Best,
Enrico
