Whilst clearing out papers from jobs past I came across some of the notes from the very first session (shared here). I remember designing the poster for it with Aboriginal Art-inspired lizards around the border.

Many years later when I embarked upon a PhD my co-supervisor advised that, other than the usual (formal) weekly meetings of the research group we, the students, institute our own informal coffee and biscuits chat sessions. She was a very insightful supervisor and one with vast life and work experience. I heeded the advice and so the AI/ML Lounge Lizards was born in Newmarket Campus, Auckland.
