Install Adobe Fireworks

I tried to download and install Firework CS6 through my Creative Cloud, but there is no way letting me download it. I went to adobe download center to download it, but it keep leading me to my Creative Cloud app and in there only shows Firework CS6 "up to date". What should I do to download it?
If it's easier then you can just use the Adobe CS6 direct links instead to download whichever of the older Creative Suite 6 apps you need... Just make sure to follow the important instructions on that page.
Maybe you can help me out here. I just finished a 30 days trial using Adobe Fireworks and really liked it. Now I am trying to buy it but it won't let me. Asking me for a serial number ( I don't have one ). When I click the buy Fireworks CS6 button, the creative cloud pricing and membership starts loading ( 4 squares going in circle ) for 2 hours and nothing happens.
However, Fireworks CS6 (and all CS6 tools, as well as all newer CC tools) is included in the Creative Cloud "All Apps" plan, so if you're a member then you can download, install and run it:
Here is a screenshot of the current Creative Cloud Desktop app running right now... Fireworks is available, as is Encore, SpeedGrade, Edge Animate, and other older creative tools. All you have to do is turn on "Show Older Apps," as described in the previous reply above.
I bought fireworks cs6 license in 2013. I would like to download my fireowrks cs6 from my account but I can't do that. There is no way to click download or anaything that would start the downloading process. Any advice is much welcome.
Hello Everyone! I have had to re-install Fireworks a few times, since my computers have been replaced or quit working and fixed. I just spent hours again...trying to remember how I previously re-installed the fireworks cs6 app. I am very HAPPY to tell you...I HAVE FOUND IT!!! YES! Simply go to the preference option in the creative cloud app. There you will see 2 options. One is General, the other Creative Cloud. Select Creative Cloud. Look at the last option which says "show older versions". Select it. Now, go back to your apps and WALLAAAA! There it is. Simply download. I'm very excited about this, since I use the Fireworks app all the time in my creative design for websites and graphics. Good Luck Everyone!
I used to absolutely love Fireworks and have been bummed that it had been discontinued. I can get around Photoshop ok, but nowhere near my knowledge in Fireworks! Have been trying to find it for a long @$$ time and this did it! Support has been no help at all!
Absolutely ridiculous that you have to do that to view legacy software. I don't care Adobe has decided not to continue developing on Fireworks, I love it. I don't need all the capabilities and hassle of Photoshop. I paid for it and have CC so no reason it should be this hard to access. Thank you very much sharsweb!
I literally only have a cloud subscription for fireworks, I may be in a massive minority but I find it by far the quickest and most productive tool for basic web graphics / layout. I'm really not interested in the two dozen different apps they've tried to replace it with over the years that attempt to do more than I want and just get in the way.
My understanding is that once you upgrade to Mac OS High Sierra you will no longer be able to use Fireworks because it is not 64bit. I've used Fireworks like forever, so I'm going to not upgrade until I have to. I believe that Illustrator is the actual tool to replace it with, not Photoshop.
The company behind Gravit Designer started out with creating a Freehand-like design tool for their own internal workflow purposes when Adobe decided to discontinue Freehand (Gravit has an interesting backstory). Since their revenues are generated by their work, and not by Gravit Designer, they decided to release it for free.
It's a pretty cool Fireworks alternative, in my opinion: it supports slicing, multiple device asset export (png, svg, jpg), symbols, pages, styles, an so on, but updated to work in more up-to-date web and mobile design workflows. Even master pages are available!
I agree with everyone else for the purpose Fireworks was created, it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. I use it even with High Sierra. I used the 5.1 version but had to download a very old version of Java to work. I just recently added DreamWeaver to my subscription. I have a website I used DW 5.1 and FW 5.1 to create and maintain. I am not a rich person, and I am getting to my maximum for subscriptions.
Gravit Designer is vector-based, but it should open any standard PNG file (just drag and drop a PNG file on the Gravit Designer canvas). If this doesn't work, Gravit might not be able to understand the FW PNG files. Not sure, I haven't tried this myself.
Dreamweaver is no longer the tool it used to be (at all). Adobe just doesn't know what to do with their tools and modern web development, unfortunately. Perhaps try Pinegrow, a visual editor, instead, which is less expensive as well, and you get a full license (or choose the sub option). Both are less expensive than renting Dreamweaver.
I do most of my work in the html ("code") view but like the way I can see the results in real time in the DW interface. So far, I haven't found an HTML editor that works this way, with the smoothness that DW does.
However, Pinegrow is mainly meant for visual editing. That said, when you install the free Atom code editor (I linked to it before) and install the Pinegrow package (plugin) in Atom, any change in either application is updated in the other while you type (no need to save). It's quite powerful. Atom is a beautiful code editor and extremely configurable.
Put both side by side, and you'll have a more or less identical experience as DW - with the advantage of Pinegrow being a much more advanced visual editor, as well as Atom being a "better" code editor.
That's not too surprising. Fireworks was/is a Creative Suite product that has not been updated in many years. The installers are not compatible with Sierra much less High Sierra. See the workaround described below.
Hopefully it'll keep running like a champ for you. Mine crashes about half a dozen times per week on Win10, on average, no matter what compatibility mode it's in. Adobe's made it pretty clear that they have no intention of fixing this.
I've already resigned myself to having to re-create some old graphics that use Adobe's proprietary additions to PNG to enable layering and such. But I can say with certainty that I won't be doing it with any Adobe software. The day Fireworks stops working altogether or just gets too crashy to put up with, I'll be canceling my subscription.
Everything else that I use in CC I can find replacements for already, most of them FOSS. I use the other software (DreamWeaver, Premiere Pro, etc.) because as long as I'm paying for it, I might as well use it: but Fireworks is the reason I keep my subscription. When it is no more, I will cancel my subscription. The newer versions of the rest of the software suck anyway. I've given up updating most of it because the older versions work better.
The inevitability of my eventually cancelling my CC subscription is one of the reasons I switched my payment method to American Express. When Adobe tries to charge me a penalty for early cancellation, one call to AmEx will stop them in their tracks. AmEx pretty much always decides disputes in favor of their customer, especially when the issue is something like software that no longer works. They'll tell Adobe to go pound sand, and I will move on.
Thank you so much for this! I had to reinstall Windows and couldn't find Fireworks anymore in my list. You'd think it would've killed Abobe to leave a link to these instructions on their site when you come to the Fireworks product page.
I've been using Fireworks since Macromedia's 1999 version that featured Dreamweaver. As much as I'd like to invest time learning Photoshop, it's just too hard to find the equivalent functions I use so quickly and easily in Fireworks.
Purchased and Downloaded CS4 Master Collection today. Everything else runs fine except Fireworks. Things I have tried:
- Reinstalling just Fireworks
- Reinstalling the entire suite
- Using the CS4CleanupScript
- Uninstalling Itunes/Quicktime
- Reinstalling Itunes/Quicktime Still getting this error. The current install of windows is no more than 2 weeks old. All windows
updates have been applied. Any help would be appreciated,

Adding to the list of things I've tried:
- Creating a new administrator user on my machine and using that
- Using the Guest User
- Booting in Safe Mode
- Disabling Hardware Accelleration

would tell you which one if I could but I just uninstaled all
non-system/office/adobe fonts I normally would have tried this sooner but since it was a fresh install of
windows I did not have my font management program at hand. If you are looking for some font management software to make this easier on
you MainType is a good one available at download.com (trial version is fine for
this purpose) Appreciate all the help and replies, hope this helps someone else.

I've just been adding and removing fonts so long I kinda knew which are
windows fonts. The adobe ones are easy because they all have adobe in front. a good rule of thumb is leaving any open type, vector and raster fonts,
although there are bad open type fonts out there. going through the list is was pretty obvious to me which I installed myself
but in general: left anything with adobe prefix
left anything with wst prefix
left anything with font family system or symbol
left all raster and vector fonts
left all fonts I knew for a fact or had a pretty good feeling came with
windows or office (arial, tahoma, verdana etc are obvious ones) At the risk of messing with your system fonts just leave anything you are
unsure about.
