http redirect using rst meta

Nikola has a feature to define page redirects in conf.py in the REDIRECTIONS list; but I'd rather do it with explicit redirection pages.

I tried using rst meta, but it didn't work.

.. meta::
   :http-equiv=Refresh: 0; url='https://example.com

Any advice on how to do something similar?

You can't specify HTML metadata from reST like this. You could use .html posts with a mostly blank template, or use .html files (in the files/ folder).
