Pandoc not invoked??

I'm trying to use Pandoc to handle some docx files.  I've added it to conf as:  "pandoc": ['.docx'].  I've also verified that it is working as I need by running from the command line.  

I've run with the PyCharm debugger breaking  within the pandoc code (both "compile" and "create_post") but I don't get to the breakpoint.  

It appears that the .docx extension is not being recognized.   Is there something else I need to do?

Found it - I failed to add to the conf POSTS/PAGES.
