About the Game
The Fresh Connection is a Web-based role-playing simulation
game. It was developed by the experts at Involvation, a supply
chain management consulting
firm.
The Challenge
Your challenge in this competition is to collaborate with your
team of four supply chain professionals to help save a virtual
fruit juice manufacturer. You also will have an opportunity to
see how your team measures up against the rest of the
competition. This is an interactive event focused on real-world
implementation of best practices.
How It Works
To play the game, each individual must be in teams of four and
must play a specific executive role:
- Purchasing
- Supply chain
- Operations
- Sales
The Fresh Connection is a six round competition that will spread
over seven weeks. Each week, the advanced simulation software
calculates the consequences of the strategic and tactical
decisions made by the team. The goal is to make the highest
return on investment during the competition. You will see how
your team measures up against the other teams in
this
interactive event, which is designed to further enhance your
team-building and e-collaboration skills.
Time Commitment
Each individual participant will join the competition for two
hours a week and become a part of an engaging and interactive
team platform.
