The Ph.D. program in Information Systems at the Zicklin School of Business
at Baruch College, CUNY is accepting applications from prospective
students. The City University of New York (CUNY) offers a Ph.D. degree in
Business, administered by the Graduate School and University Center of
CUNY and completely housed within the Baruch College Zicklin School of
Business. Information Systems is one of several specializations in this
program.

The department has 18 full-time faculty whose research interests include
e-Business, Human-Computer Interaction, Software Development and
Traceability, Financial Information Systems, Electronic Markets, and
Global Information Systems, among others. The department maintains a
strong research culture with faculty publishing in top-tier journals such
as Information Systems Research, MIS Quarterly, Journal of Management
Information Systems, and Communications of the ACM. The department holds a
bi-weekly IS Research Workshop where both visiting and department faculty
present their research.

Students are accepted for Fall admission only. The deadline for receiving
applications and supporting documents is January 15. Students must submit
GMAT scores and evidence of good scholastic ability. This usually involves
a graduate grade point average of 3.5 or better and/or undergraduate grade
point average of 3.2 or better.
