The Information Systems Ph.D. Program in the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University, Bloomington, is currently accepting applications from prospective students for admission in Fall 2010 semester.  The Ph.D. Program in Information Systems is typically a 4-year program to prepare students to conduct high quality research in Information Systems.  Information Systems is one of three doctoral programs offered by Kelley’s Department of Operations and Decision Technologies (ODT).  The Kelley School offers free tuition and a fellowship to cover living expenses to every admitted doctoral student.

Faculty & Research
The Information Systems faculty members are known for word class research in a variety of research areas in the field of information systems.  The current research interests of the faculty members include: collaboration technologies, Neuro IS (Information Systems), technology-based innovation, social media and virtual worlds, IT in health care, data modeling and database design, data governance, systems analysis and design, cognitive aspects of design, IT-driven changes in organizations, business process change, and IT adoption, use, and impacts.

The Kelley School is ranked in the top 10 in the world with respect to publications in the top 3 Information Systems journals (i.e., MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, and Journal of Management Information Systems).  Visit http://vvenkatesh.com/isranking/index.html for research ranking in Information Systems.  According to a recent study, the Kelley School is ranked in the top 10 in the World with respect to producing most graduates in Information Systems who published in top journals in Information Systems between 2003 and 2007.  Further, the Kelley School is ranked 2nd in the world for supplying most doctoral students and 4th in the world for supplying most graduates, doctoral students, and faculty who published in the top 3 information Systems journals (i.e., MIS Quarterly, Information Systems Research, and Journal of Management Information Systems) between 2003 and 2007.
