Our young graduates mostly look into the big pay and higher positions right after the graduation. However, due to the market conditions, normally they take the first job that comes in their way, then suddenly they find it mis-fit and shows no interest. This showing no interest but keeping the job is called MIS-FIT. This is the moment when most of these graduates would have serious challenges in the future as it is the employer's world and some can go to any extreme particularly if they knew you are planning to say goodbye. Recently, we have seen cases where some crooks LIED to potential employers.
Job market being tough in Pakistan and the university system's (I should say majority of the universities) focus on getting the fees and awarding the degrees - without any consideration to what kind of talent/expertise market requires.
I am sharing this wonderful article from HBR and hope you/your students would find it useful. Take care.
