Hey everyone -
A new group has formed at our church called the Cathedral Council of Interfaith Women. Our mission is to enhance the lives of all women of faith by working through other women. The CCIW will be hosting their first event...an afternoon tea & lecture on Saturday, April 19th, and all the ladies are invited to come. (Guys, if you have any women in mind who would be interested in coming (moms, aunts, grandmas, girlfriends, friends, etc), please feel free to forward the info to them.) Also, this event is open to women of ALL faiths, not just Catholics.
Our topic will be "Inspiring Historical Women", and our guest speaker will be Msgr. Kevin Kostelnik (pastor of the Cathedral). He will touch base on the lives of a few key inspiring historical women of various faiths. I think this will be an awesome opportunity for many of us to allow God to open our eyes to a greater understanding of the world around us and the people among us. The event will include a buffet style tea table, the lecture, a guided Cathedral tour, and parking.
For more info on the event, or if you are interested in attending, please check out the attached registration form. More forms can also be found throughout the Cathedral info stations and in the Cathedral office. Seating is limited, and we have already received a great response from the community, so please sign up ASAP. I hope to see you all there...thank you!
Peace & blessings,
-Natasha Asinas-
